That’s so great! I love it here too, but it’s gotten so overpopulated and gone through the roof with cost of owning a home and keeping it up. I’ve been a widow for over 10 years and it’s expensive when you have to hire someone to keep up an old house and the taxes and all. Not sure what I’m going to do. Kinda running out of places to escape to where you can buy in country and not so expensive. Anyway… if y’all ever come over cherokee/bryson city/sylva/franklin area… I’ll be happy to show ya around. Haywood smokehouse here won #1 bbq on yelp (pretty sure it was yelp), voted by people. Can. You believe they beat texas …. I mean out of all the US!?!! I was pretty impressed when o saw that. They have 3 locations here. Waynesville, sylva and franklin.
