I like sausage gravy over grits. Found gluten free grits by Dixie Lily, and they are really delicious. I use almond flour to thicken for a gravy..lots of pepper. I just got a new seasoning today..it’s called Farmers Dust (Amish)..great on lots of dishes. Going to try it in the morning. Thank you for praying for my cousin Randy. He went home to the Lord this past Friday. My heart is broken, but I know I’ll see him one day. He just beat me there. God Bless.

I agree with most everything you say about Camp Riverslanding. We’ve stayed there the past 2 years. We were pretty much in the same spot or right beside your spot in 2022. The go kart track was annoying late at night, but I love the creekside camp spot. The bath house and warm pool are the BEST. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They keep the place so clean. I love the hidden location of this small place. We also stayed in 2023 in June on the mountain side and unfortunately, the entire week was ruined by drunk neighbors who played loud, awful music til midnight every night, right beside my bedroom window. UGH. Not the camp’s fault, of course. It also rained the 2nd night and then my camper was full of ants. :( Food was sealed, they just wandered all over the roof and in my bed. It was a nightmare. God bless you on your future travels and love to meet camping neighbors like yourself for fireside chats. I’ve stayed in touch with a lovely couple we were beside at this camp in 2022. Wonderful people. ❤️🙏🏻

I love the fireside chats, makes you ponder and think. Most of my goodness came from my parents who set forth a wonderful path for their children. Being the youngest of eight children we were taught the values in our lives with kindness, grace, empathy and non being judgmental towards others and of course we passed those values on to our children.
My husband said the greatest gift he can give his children is the love, kindness and respect that he shows for their mother.
That’s priceless knowledge to show your children the love between husband and wife. Kindness can brighten up someone’s day and I am don’t know why that’s it’s acknowledged as a human gesture for all people.
With 10 family members, we didn’t have the pleasure to go camping, vacations but I did not think I was missing out.
Big T captures my heart and he’s so content on mama’s lap.
Everything you guys ate looked delicious.
Being from western Pa., biscuits and gravy was not a popular dish but I have grown to enjoy them every so often.

God made each of us uniquely different while creating us in his likeness. God also gave each of us talents , whatever they be singing playing an instrument . Public speaking and so on. God also gave us the ability to shine and live each day that he has blessed us with most certainly being kind ,showing Gods love everywhere we go no matter what life throws our way we above all else should choose to show love and kindness to all. You guys & Big T need to check out Anchor Down RV Resort there in Dandridge, TN. One of our favorite campgrounds.
We've heard great things about it and hope to stop by sometime. Thank you for sharing.
It’s always a fine balance between seclusion or convenience when locating a camp ground. Those that only desire to use the campground amenities will often prefer seclusion. They aren’t interested in the nearby lights and sounds of the attractions. Those who prefer quick, convenient walking access to retail shops, amusement attractions and restaurants will chose the convenient campground. These campgrounds will usually have more in the way of traffic noise and more ambient commercial lighting. Knowing what it is that you desire in a campground is so important in the overall selection. A night in the wrong type of campground can lead to disappointments in your arrangements. Do you research and know before you go whenever possible. You’ll enjoy your trip a lot more.

We like Camprivers landing my wife and I usually stay at 34 or 36 next to the rapids. I really like yalls fire side chats your values are great and need more vlogs that has yalls priorities! We camped up there the 1st week of June. God Bless Ya'll Karen and Mike! 😊

The sausage gravy looks great.
I pretty much cook mine the same way except I’ll thicken it up with a corn starch slurry.
I prefer Jimmy Deans hot sausage myself.
Brown the sausage then I’ll add the milk and let it simmer for a bit.
Then I’ll slowly incorporate the corn starch slurry until desired thickness is achieved. 👍🏼

I make my gravy with 3 TB vegan butter, 3 TB flour, and 1 1/4 cup almond milk. Dash of salt and pepper. I’ve tried it with vegan sausage but I didn’t enjoy the flavor.

Yes it has wi-fi and I always share the cell phone signal also.

You may have covered this in other videos but do y'all have a home base or do you just travel around in the Travato all the time? Hopefully we will see you in September when we visit Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.
Our home base is East Tn and we both still work full time and take these adventures when we can.

Big T is 15 had a stroke several years ago deaf and nearly blind so he's usually in a dog stroller. He use to walk the streets of Gatlinburg with us.
