Chasing Derricks T-33

I was flying my AvantiS and chasing Derricks Freewing T-33.

Is it my imagination, or is the T-33 just a little bit quicker than the Avanti? Probably simple aerodynamics.

Actually, the opposite… I had to back off the throttle often to stay behind him. The T-33 is not slow by any means, but the Avanti is faster.
