Take the time to regap your piston rings to avoid chipping a piston and doing it all again very soon.
Learned this a couple times trying to help you save a headache.
Have chipped pistons on 4 different l67 blocks stock tune and parts.
E85 will help avoid that... burns a lot cooler... they chip when they get to hot and the piston rings but up and pop the top off... never touch the bottom end of 3800s u let the magic out... my turbo fiero is makin prob 500whp and its stock bottom end

Any reason in particular you went with the t5 vs a nv1500? Easier to get a hold of. Maybe even a little stronger
Not sure if nv1500 bolts to 3800... but ik t5 comes in camaro bolted to a 3.8 so i just used same clutch and such for a camaro
What did you do for engine mounts and trans mount. For context I have all the motor and t5 trans to do the swap I'm not running the blower I found that a turbo setup fits better because you can use the firebird intake I plan to run low 8 to 10 psi till I work out the kinks with tuning but I need to know what to mount it too first everything else is fit,tuck and plum. Also you can do a short throw shift kit and relocate the shifter back to the 240s original shifter placement

@@Garageless okay I bet I can use the old mounts from the firebird sub frame and trans mount just drill and tap to mount in the old slots may have to make risers to get it fit perfectly. Some one did tell me the 91 Corvette's sway bar can work as well.
Plausible i prefer solid ik u dont get much choice on how it sits... lot of things that are hitting everywhere lol
