Lexus IS300 HID BiXenon Projector Headlight Retrofit Wiring | Panamera DRL Shrouds Part 2

- We complete the BiXenon projector retrofit on 2001-2005 Lexus IS300 Headlight using NHK G5-BRT (Hella Replica). We bake the brand new OEM housings open, install the projectors previously fitted and wire up all the DRLs, turn signals, and high beam BiXenon.
To fit it nicely, we use a Morimoto Profile Panamera DRL shroud with switchback turn signals. The NHK G5-BRT is one of many G5 projector variants made by NHK. This version has one of the best outputs thanks to a special lens coating. The bowl is same as other G5 variants.
Since I got these in Sept of 2020, the BRT has sold out and been upgraded to a v2 version. The BRT have the coating and non-screw shaft.

Nice cutoff and beam pattern. Sure beats the VLANDs.
HID still king of the automotive lighting. If it’s got a good projector and install. None of that PnP BS in halogen reflector or projectors.

this would be expensive to buy from anyone plus the OEM headlights are no longer available. I got lucky and got some of the last sets left in production.
I managed to buy some retrofitted altezza headlights, but i think the guy retrofitted it improperly as they just added the projector - so i retained my HID output. Since the swap i think my visibility and brightness got worse. It looks really good tho but driving at night is pretty sketchy. Got any ideas on how to improve the visibility?
Aim them on a wall. They are probably too low or too high.

Shroud is designed to snap on. It’s pretty tight.

Yea all my content is between 9pm and midnight. No projects during the day or when kids are home.

My HID projectors kill any aftermarket LED on the road. Love driving my IS300 and Sienna at night with the HID projector retrofits.
