You know how the Final Fantasy characters don't "have their own world" based on their home property? What if the Marvel characters were treated more like that. You know, they do have a base of operations somewhere in Quadratum, but no "New York but with a mustache-glasses-name"? Especially if we're doing some sort of plot of unreality, multiverses and, by extension, Marvel characters who have dealt with such could be interesting inclusions.
Hell, there's been little Kingdom Heart-style amalgam worlds in Marvel Comics plenty of times. Usually the leftovers from some big event (ie, writers didn't want to totally get rid of the setting) that get shunted off into little pocket dimensions (and sometimes the most popular characters form them get pulled into the main timeline).
I think the best way to represent it would be as a special world, I’m thinking just like the 100 Acre Wood in KH1/2. Throughout the worlds you’d be able to find various issues of Marvel Comics that you can combine together to play a new campaign in “New York”- with bright colours and comic-book like shaders to sell the world. When you go to each campaign, it plays like a linear romp though a section of the city as you’re accompanied by a different Marvel hero each time to fight heartless and get a step closer to whoever is pulling the strings of the story. Although, I doubt that it’s going to happen since Nomura might just prefer to use the MCU.
I like this idea quite a bit. And it would be such a left field gut punch if the person behind the comic book havoc was the "Writer". It would fit the meta narative I'm sure KH4 is trying to go for, what with all the unreality/fiction talk.
Ya and we all saw how poorly that turned out big box of obnoxious mini games and being 4x to large and with the worst disney boss fight in the franchise. It's really impressive to make a boss less fun then Ursula but they did it...
I feel like a world based off the spectacular spiderman would go hard. Have the world be within that same art style and it'll make the world stand out.
Marvel in kingdom hearts... You know where lots of marvel comics take place? New york. Where is new york? America. Who did america bomb during world war 2? Japan. What city is in japan? Shibuya... TWEWY reference confirmed, nomura is a mastermind
Personally I think Nowhere from Guardians of the Galaxy would vibe pretty hard as a Gummi mission hub world (kinda like what Cid did in KH1, but more so)
I personally think they should do something similar to what they did with the Final Fantasy characters. Make it it's own thing, but take influence from both comics and movies. Example: Venom could be Spider-Man's heartless, representing the darkness in his heart rather than being an alien or a lab creation.
yea if it was up to me it would be more "comic inspired." and not like the MCU or it would be more like how final fantasy character are incorporated into the series.
This means you would the typical voice actors for marvel characters like Jennifer hale as jean or Steve Blum as wolverine etc and i think everyone would be on board with that
@@nightfall3442. Although even getting the actual voice actors could be doable; They typically try their hardest to get the original actors for the respective movies so there might not be much trouble on that front depending on how their contracts work. (If need be, the developers can always use a different actor for imitation roles, which is also something that KH regularly does.)
@@dragonbornexpress5650marvel in kh should really lean on doing it’s own thing like the main comment suggests, it tends to get really weird when voice actors imitates a live action actor and it so rarely works. Marvel is its own can of worms and is better off not trying to mimic specific works from the movies like marvel’s avengers has their own set of variants of the cast but were told clearly to make them act, sound, look like their MCU counterpart but it’s also not and if you compared that to marvel games after that they slowly just did their own thing which was for the best
Fantastic 4 and the negative zone would go hard, but unfortunately we all know Nomura's just gonna put MF DOOM instead of the real Dr. Doom in the game. Still will be hype tho i guess
Hear me out. Captain America with Hydra/Red Skull as the main antagonist with various locations across the world. The Red Skull will be using the Heartless to take over the world and working alongside Luxu to take out Sora, preventing Sora from coming back to his dimension.
I love the idea of Doom being a villain in the same way that Maleficent is. And Galactus Gummi Mission would also be dope. As for a Marvel themed World, Wakanda or Asgard would be amazing, or Sakaar.
My idea was to have a comic book that Sora finds in Quadratum (considering it's Unreality and all, it would just be a fictional comic for the civilians living there) but Sora's magic from his world makes them awaken, and they escape from the book and become part of Quadratum. You can then go around and collect comic book pages (instead of Pooh pages eh? and it would add more things to do in the hub world) and each comic/page represents different Marvel properties that appear and defeat whatever boss shows up and put them back into the comic.
I am fellow The World Ends With You and Kingdom Hearts fan. Sure, I am into other things too, but I know what it like to wait forever for a new game to release.
Hey, a Shin Megami Tensei and Persona fan here. Had to wait 6-7+ years for both SMTV, and Metaphor and am currently waiting for P6 which is overdue by a few years (it's been around 7-8 years since Persona 5 released and they took 2 years to release P4 after P3)
I think the best way that Kingdom Hearts could cross over with Marvel is if KH had its own original versions of Marvel characters, that way we are not tied down to any current comic or movie stuff. I have always imagined that we would cross over with Spider-Man (bother Peter and Miles) and swing around New York, which would be called "The City of Heroes" and be in the same style as the Big hero 6 world, stopping the members of the Sinister 6. This is capped off with a boss fight with Doc Ock or The Green Goblin. There could also be a secret boss against Doctor Doom, who has made his own keyblade. The keyblade we get from this world would be called "Great Responsibility" and, depending on what transformations are like in the next game, get a new form that allows us to shoot webs.
my brother in christ, why would it be tied down to anything? they brought Aerith back to life for kh 😂 you think they care about other franchise continuity inside of kh?
Maybe if it's either based on one of the cartoons, or comepletely original KH version of Marvel, not based on the movies. I just can't see any of these working out. Most of them are cities one way or another and Spider Verse is Sony, and as funny as PS exclusive Spider Man world would be, I dunno if any of the existing ones would work with KH. Maybe Antman?
Hey, I remember when Marvel did a collaboration with a fighting game from Capcom then expanded the whole with many of it’s properties, that was something that I have seen back in the 1990’s.
Personally if Marvel is going to be in KH4 I think it should have it's own set ov Avengers that makes sense for the series, Like Cloak&Dagger to represent the cohesion of light and darkness, Luna Snow & Dazzler teaming up for a concert tour world to add in the musical element that Nomura loves, Loki and Thor to represent Sora and Riku, Scarlet Witch and Nova (Sam Alexander) to represent family
Tony stark crashes in quadratum after the snap and he makes and upgrades your keyblade armor. Bh6 is the worst kh3 world sooo that makes alot of sence now
i think spiderman is def most likely only because SE and Sony have somewhat good ties (for now) even if its a pain in the ass i mean miles and peter are great tie ins for all three parties since spiderman 2 and rumors of miles coming to the mcu
... You know what? I somehow found a way that Kingdom Hearts could pontetially include Marvel in their own story... and is all thanks to a crossover fanfic with Madoka Magica of all things (named Keys to the Contract.) In that story, we found a world name "The Nine Realms", which is based on the Thor movies (mainly the plots of Thor: the Dark World, although some elements from other movies also appear too), and one of the main villains from that world is Malekith the Accursed and the Dark Elves, and it is revelaved that they're connected with the Heartless (the Pureblood ones) since they were from before the people had hearts/the big bang, as well we also got recapitulations by Thor about the events from the first thor movie and the avengers full movie. It's quite a weird fic but is full of lore, so go and Check it out!.
Regarding marvel I feel like something was not addressed well not in a specific way at least with a certain character. I do think they would try mcu but with a character who has something in common with Sora. (Spoilers just in case you haven’t played) In KH3 Sora used the power of waking to restore Kairi’s heart to bring her back to life. But the way he used this power was forbidden which lead to him committing a nature taboo through which he paid the ultimate price and was cast out of his reality. Now who in the MCU used a forbidden power to fix a problem in their life and then had to make a personal sacrifice because of it to save the day. Yeah so now I don’t think I have to justify why MCU Peter Parker would be the best pick at least if they went that route. The more I think about this the more perfect it seems.
If you want to be a pedantic technical loser, they’ve already done Marvel in KH3. Big Hero Six was marvel initially although the Pixar film is massively different Edit; and this is why we don’t comment before finishing the video
oh oh oh! conspiracy theory! we getting a spiderverse world and thats why spiderverse part 2 was delayed further! so kh4 can release along side new spiderverse movie 🤣🤣 sora is the spiderman of the kh world(s) 😂😂😂
Spidermid by himself shouldn't have a world. I think the avengers 2012 world wouldn't be too bad if they do something like Kh2 and have return trips to worlds. Ex: first visit to avengers tower is the 2012 movie. The second visit can be Infinity war. They'd have to briefly explain civil war and get right to fighting thanos
You know how the Final Fantasy characters don't "have their own world" based on their home property? What if the Marvel characters were treated more like that. yeah just throw spiderman into quadratum that would be sick
and marvel is no stranger to multiverse shenanigans. so why not toss some marvel heroes into KH just passing by. 😂
That is EXACTLY what I was thinking! THAT would be great!😊
Hell, there's been little Kingdom Heart-style amalgam worlds in Marvel Comics plenty of times. Usually the leftovers from some big event (ie, writers didn't want to totally get rid of the setting) that get shunted off into little pocket dimensions (and sometimes the most popular characters form them get pulled into the main timeline).

Big Hero 6 was based on Marvel comic (part of Marvel universe as well), so technically we already got them XD
There connected to x men surprisingly
Ya and we all saw how poorly that turned out big box of obnoxious mini games and being 4x to large and with the worst disney boss fight in the franchise. It's really impressive to make a boss less fun then Ursula but they did it...
I was coming into the comments to say this but yes, we have a Marvel world already.
@@ribbledude that's why there was Stan Lee cameo at the end of Big Hero 6

Also don't forget Marvel multiverse
Personally I think Nowhere from Guardians of the Galaxy would vibe pretty hard as a Gummi mission hub world (kinda like what Cid did in KH1, but more so)
Marvel universe is rich enough it wouldn't need to directly adapt any story specifically, just make an original story with the characters
Marvel has Howard the Duck, so I'm pretty sure Donald and Goofy would fit right in.
With Sora being on the afterlife, and with darkness shenanigans in the series, Ghost Rider would legit be the best character to go with too.
now I want Dr. Doom vs Malefiecent fight.
I personally think they should do something similar to what they did with the Final Fantasy characters. Make it it's own thing, but take influence from both comics and movies. Could base it off planet hulk and have tournament games back, probably be the easiest.
I just want Sora and Spidey-Peter fight together, I don't care if new york is another world that resembles to Quadratum
I would want them to do an original story with a KH villain instead of a Marvel one.
But I think it would be GOATed if Sora fights a Beyonder that was imprisoned in unreality or something. That would be next level insanity

I wish I’d thought of this title when I made my own one of these a few months back.
I would go with a defenders street level at night world with a spidy cameo
Hey, I remember when Marvel did a collaboration with a fighting game from Capcom then expanded the whole with many of it’s properties, that was something that I have seen back in the 1990’s.
They should use the 90s cartoon verse as a inspiration
what's there to figure out? we got BH6 in 3. and sora has a grappling hook now. spiderman confirmed!
The real reason KH4 is missing is because Nomura himself can't figure out how Marvel and Star Wars would fit into the game
Sora gatta get the symbiote somehow 😂😂😂

And how about an adaptation of secret wars for a world? Battle world? Almost every marvel character is there
6:06 HIT MONKEY!!!!!
It's like he forgot it's already done, big hero six is marvel 😂
12:24 HIT MONKEY!!!!
Dr. Strange World?
At least make a Goofy Captain America Shield and Donald Mjolnir Staff
I wouldn't mind Marvel.
Honestly if we’re doing Marvel I think Avengers Age of Ultron would be the best movie for a starting point
