Nope, New Clark City would be the future commercial hub of the Philippines. To decongest Metro Manila. Also, there is a plan to relocate some of the government agencies in the area. So, Clark City and New Clark would be the next "IN" place. But, I believe that would only happened when the commuter train line called NSCR finish in 2029.
The Clark complex was an old US military base and is huge, and the places to see are far and in- between. A map of Clark would be helpful to really enjoy the visit.

You only got to visit the redeveloped, (small), portion of the former CAB. Take an adventurous trip to the overgrown jungle dark side of the former US CAB, like the abandoned hospital.😉

The whole Clark Area was a former US Military Base during the 60s to late 80s. It is named Clark Air Base. . .pls. visit also Subic, also a former Military Base. They were converted to Economic Zones.
The Clark Free Trade Zone in Pampanga is mixed of township and industrial. There are industrial companies there. Like Toshiba among others. Me and my cousin and my college classmates used to apply there but didn't pass. Haha. Then the township which is residential and commercial. There condominiums there as well. Then the New Clark City in the Province of Tarlac is a SMART City. A combination of modern yet will use Renewable energy. The New National Government Center will be put there in the future. Its not yet developed like that in Clark Free Trade Zone.

Clark is a former US Airbase that was converted to an economic zone after the US soldiers left in 1991 ish. Philippine Airforce still using part of the facilities though.
That place it’s huge my friend and I didn’t even get a chance to explore the whole City because we were only there for ten days. We liked it more than Manila it’s more open and no pollution.

Better to tour Clark by car cuz its a big area.. they call Clark a city for some people coz all the amenities of a city you can find it there. UP Clark campus, ateneo business school,intl school , Phil science high are there. While sm Clark has convention center hotel and NU campus plus numerous theme park it’s like a city within the city
why you dont try to visit MONTEMARIA the tallest and the biggest srhrine and mama mary statue in the wold .montemaria is open now .its located in batangas city a one of the key cities in the philippines .its not a prank i promise you will amazed the place
