- President Joe Biden addressed the nation following the shooting at former president Donald Trump's rally in Pennsylvania.
The president said he tried to get ahold of Trump and hopes to speak with him soon.
"There is no place in America for this kind of violence," said Biden.
The shooting left the suspected gunman dead, local authorities said. One spectator was also killed and another critically injured.
