When I was in the province in south cotabato, we also had that kind of dirty kitchen before. When I woke up in the morning, I smelled the smoke my mother was cooking grilled tuyo and fried rice. She also grilled tomatoes, a partner for tuyo. And at noontime, when I came home from school, I smelled another dish again that she cooked in the dirty kitchen. It was tinolang manok. The smoke from tinolang manok makes me feel more hungry . And at night, there were times, there was a brown out, we used a petromax in our dirty kitchen for a light while my mother was cooking. She cooks kare kare or pork sinigang. What a very pleasant day that time, hoping, I will turn back again at this kind of simple way of living during those days.
The aromas of grilled tuyo and fried rice, tinolang manok, and kare kare or pork sinigang 😋😋am glad this vlog brought back the fond memories and I hope you are able to revisit that feeling of warmth and contentment in the future. Thank you for watching 😊

But I live in Australia and to build a kitchen like that would be very expensive, because we have by-laws, as in, have to get permits from our local government (council), the builders will have to make sure the building is safe, typhoon proof, etc,etc. I also loved your location. Hope you do not feel homesick over there😊.

Its nice to live in a simple life. Its also good to have solar power station especially in off grid areas. Will help you in case of emergency. Electrical outage is common during rainy season and storms.

As, a Guy who lives in the province..buy a solar panel and buy a mosquito repelling light the ones you can plug into the solar panels at night..better safe from denge and malaria..good luck out there..😊

Pls take care of the plastic trash..if no one from the local government collects the plastic trash because your place is too far from the town then you can burn them rather than throw it away and scatters all over the place... I know burning of of plastics is bad but what can we do....

Hopefully someday you will learn to speak the local language or dialect so you can easily communicate with the locals and they will surely appreciate your effort of learning their dialect or atleast tagalog so everybody will understand you
