    Greedy American farmers and companies told Mexicans to come here illegally to avoid paying high taxes to both the US and Mexico. And still happening to this very day

      @@danieldelrancho5749 yeah, and Willie Nelson somehow felt the farmers needed even more. I say abolish all subsidies to farmers. There is some money right back in the kitty(Treasury). Nobody subsidizes me on my way to work everyday. Nobody pays for my gas, or buys me a coffee. Come on, man. Everybody in this needs to stand on their own two feet, for this country.

      Most undocumented immigrants use fake SSI and are paying into the system just like residents except they do not ever get to see their returns. FYI.

      So then lets make them legals so they are taxpayers. That would bring in revenue and that would get rid of the incentive to come here to avoid taxes.

    My father is white and my mother is Mexican, and they have many crops, all the workers are Mexican and I have seen workers faint from the heat and yet they continue working at 100° here, the reality is that if they do not work the country's crops will fall and fruits and vegetables will increase in pressure

    This video fails to mention that is was the Mexican government who wanted the US to send its absent citizens home to pick the produce rotting in Mexico's farm fields. There are two sides to this story, but one view is obviously more equal than the other....

      Mexican government did not need them to come back, because they already HAVE people who need to work there. Besides, the government were deporting Hispanics that were U.S. citizens. My parents and grandparents and great great grandparents were born in Texas, ever since the Spanish arrived at Padre Island , now Corpus Christi in the 1500s, some were Spanish pirates, so there has always been Spanish settlers here in Texas, and in the U.S. Spanish people mixed with the Natives and are now Mestizos, or Chicanos. But during the Eisenhower administration White people decided they wanted them out of the U.S. just like they way they put the Natives in Reservations to get their land, they now wanted Hispanic people out of the way.

    they don’t understand policy and economics. It worked in Florida this year when the governor implemented the no hire illegal law - and look FL’s economy is stronger than ever with ppl wanting to move into the state in record numbers. Many of the people commenting here don’t even know that now, most of the ppl who work in the fields have legal residency. Only a short few are working in the fields under an illegal status. Most of the illegals are into other industries like fast food or construction - jobs that high schoolers would want to take. The U.S. now uses a more sophisticated form of the Bracero program with other Latin American countries where the individual working has his hours, board, and job tracked and then sent back to his/her country when the season is over - which has worked for the last 10yrs. Get educated and stop making it about skin color. The U.S. is a country with laws and the first act you make cannot be breaking the law.

      There are no other forms of bracero programs. And the Florida fields are still filled with illegals. Desantis told them not to be afraid and not to leave, he said everything was just for political reasons but begged them to stay

    The lack of a formal policy had not stopped many immigrants. Settlers simply circumvented or ignored the laws. A number of people had left the United States to settle in the Mexican northern provinces.The ban and other measures did not stop US citizens from migrating to Texas by the thousands, and by 1834, it was estimated that over 30,000 Anglos lived in Texas, compared to only 7,800 Mexican-born residents.
    Mexican authorities noted that slave reforms passed by the state were being ignored. By the end of 1835, almost 5,000 enslaved Africans and African Americans lived in Texas, making up 13 percent of the non-Indian population (The Mexican rules were widely disregarded and slavery remained in Texas until the end of the American Civil War).The attitudes of the immigrants prompted the Mexican-American War on February 2nd 1848, in which Mexico lost almost 55 percent of its territory to the United States drawing a bullshit line trough territory that used to be nothing but Mexico and some of these territories we know currently as Arizona,NewMexico,Texas,Nevada and of course California. All of those states used to be absolutely Mexico! so now you have people who are indigenous here who were made foreigners on there own land.

      How many of those "indigenous" people were Mestizo or just European?

  • @TheWarshire

    And thus we see just why the issue is so complex. These are hard workinf, humble people. Being given the worst jobs at the low wages. And yet what is their reward. To be rounded up and shipped out because, sorry. You are not a 'true' American
    While many of the golks screaming, bring it back, are also angry at high inflation and prices, yet ignore the easiest way to lowering said prices. Increase supply and the lrices go down. Maybe just overhaul the whole system. Helps keep bad people out and reward the hard workers with the security that they amer now americans.
    Both sides win, and so do the people. But too many are blinded by hatred to see the way foward

    • @chickenfishhybrid44
      @chickenfishhybrid44 Місяць тому

      Right, reduce prices by continuing what you seem to see as exploitation. There is no easy solution to this, however most countries don't have a constant inflow of illegal workers from a country on their border like Mexico and yet they still manage to have affordable food.

    • @TheWarshire
      @TheWarshire Місяць тому

      @@chickenfishhybrid44 and yet people don't flow across the border if there were not jobs being offered.
      The constant clash of constant demand for cheap labor vs immigration standards. I agree. There is no simple fix. But I griw weary of blaming the people working harder than most for little, and being used by others who are only interested in profit

    • @ethanweeter2732
      @ethanweeter2732 Місяць тому +1

      I think we need to make it easier on legal immigrants too in terms of getting citizenship faster. Weed out the criminals by giving legal citizens citizenship much faster and those working pathways to citizenship while using existing laws to crack down on illegal hiring practices of illegal immigrants. Quit penalizing just the workers, go after the businesses who are not paying legal immigrants and hurting their own fellow Americans and legal immigrants.
