I’m here in 2023 I have been watching them for 60 years and still laugh till I cry, there will never be another pair like them. May they rest in peace.
Even in 3019,4019,5019 and forever🧡 Another Oliver Hardy and Stan Laurel will never come on this planet again. The best duo comedians forever in the universe🙏
It's 2018. I can literally watch anything I want to on a device that fits in your hand. Here I am watching black and white grainy comedy from a hundred years ago. LOL. Stan and Ollie are the kings.
nothing to be ashamed of we all appreciate the by gone golden age of comedy and film it helps us broaden our minds and not be sucked in by the rubbish they produce today.
There is often a reason people thumb down videos, even if they loved the video. When you thumbs-up, UA-cam and Google record what you like and will then endlessly try and sell you Laurel and Hardy videos all over the Internet. I don't do it myself but you can see why some people do.
Well, then just don't thumb down. That would make more sense. If you love the video and don't want to thumb up because they'll track you, thumbing down instead would be ridiculous and pointless.
@@rockchick126 If you watch this video without clicking thumbs-up OR thumbs-down, UA-cam and Google store the fact that you watched a Laurel and Hardy video and will try and sell you Laurel and Hardy videos on every website imaginable thereafter. It's a privacy issue.
Poor Mr. Hardy - sitting there, in his burned-out house, at the end, the rain pouring down... and he picks a bit of lint off his knee... Bittersweet yet hilarious! What masters these two gentlemen were...
I remember seeing it first as a child and thinking it was the saddest and funniest thing I'd ever seen, I still do. I really think its one of the greatest moments in film
@MrStig691 SNL has had dynamite trios-Dan Ackroyd, Bill Murray, and Harold Ramis. Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, and Kate McKinnon. My gawd I just think of these three women and laugh out loud!
No doubt greatest comic geniuses ever.....almost 100years old film and still so funny.Timing perfection especially when laurel shouts LOOK OUT!!then a pipe falls on Ollie covering him in soot (spot on timing) The background music is great throughout sheer brilliance anyone agree?
Almost 100 years on, yes almost ONE HUNDRED YEARS, they are still the best comedy duo to have lived. They would be amazed if they were alive today to see what an incredible legacy they left. Classic comedy that will never get old.
This reminds me of watching my mom and dad in their kitchen. They were orphaned during the depression, met during the war and married, had my brother and me in the late 40's and mid 50's, worked hard and lived well, not wealthy but comfortably They taught me to get by in life ya gotta laff - and if you can laff at yourself when times are hard you can get thru most anything and come out smiling! We've forgotten that humor matters.
They know each other so well by this point, that their instinctive sense of exactly where the other one is, for every gag, is flawless. It's like watching ballet.
And then Ollie has a quick look outside to see if somewhere out there is an explanation for Stan's sudden arrival - little moments like that reveal their genius!
Haven't watched Stan & Ollie for a while but soon as I put it on I was laughing. I've seen this countless times before but it gets better every time it's sheer perfection, their timing & mannerisms...it's like seeing old friends who cheer you up..they'll live forever
Laughed at these two wonderful comedians as a child and I am still laughing at their antics now. Never equaled by anyone, slapstick comedy at it's best.
I haven't laughed so hard in years. I use to love watching Laurel and Hardy when I was a kid in the late 70's and the 80's I use to laugh so much the back of my head hurt. Brilliant, nothing like those since and never will be
Just absolute quality and every once in a while, Stan says something extremely logical and philosophical And then the bricks and pianos and wives and policemen and dogs and water rain down again but deep down Stan Has reached a state of Nirvana and Ollie just keeps overthinking and worrying about unnecessary events around them. The most important thing is nothing ever gets them down even a piano from three storeys above can only knock them down for 10 seconds wonderful
ABSOLUTE CLASSIC!! I'm 57 and have watched these films over and over and still laugh out loud at every scene. My 12 year old laughs along with me and finds them funny too I'm glad to say.
One of their best, comedy that will live forever, Stan and Ollie would never have dreamed that folks would still be watching now, but the laughter roars on undiminished 😁 we will never see their like again

This is so fantastic.....hats off to the team, person or persons who put this whole thing together, it certainly is! I used to watch them on BBC 2 every Sunday morning when I was a kid, always will love them, the best!
This is some of Stan's best work here. The way he handles the telephone at the begininning... But goodness, what a sad ending! Poor Ollie. I know things never turn out well for them, but this one felt particularly sad.
The greatest idea that they introduced into the comic act was Ollie looking into the camera. In nearly every movie the camera is supposed to be in absentee as in the script and movie was supposed t be made to look real life. @rachaelhogan7850 Their first 2 reeler movies are over 100 years old. The first 'talkies' were 1929. And they're still funny! Amazing really.

@UnseenPhantom let's put it this way, The Three Stooges were the best Trio and Laurel and Hardy the best Duo.
How about some breakfast? ☺😀😁😅😂

Ollie "breaks the fourth wall" a LOT! ...... Come to think of it, Stan and Ollie "break" a LOT of things! 😂😂😂
Babe is a master of breaking the 4th wall lol
Oliver Hardy was a great actor. The range of emotions he was able to convey with an expression, a reaction or a gesture shows his greatness.
In real life hardy was the fun loving one and laurel was the serious minded one. They work so well together because the genuinely loved each other.
Stanley's expression after he says he'll never het married is just the best. Cheekiest smile put on film

I read the Queen of England was feeling ill. Her doctor told her to rest in bed. She did so and choose to watch Laurel and Hardy films.
I'll tell you one thing, she's not going to rest watching Laurel and Hardy. EXTREME LAUGHTER CONTENT 😀😃😅😆 chris
This one is a gem. The boys were at the top of their game. Very funny.
