- California Convictions posts interesting stories and hard lessons learned over seventeen years in the California Penal system.
Names and details of these stories have been changed to protect the guilty. Don't bother subpoenaing me or using any of these stories in a judicial setting. They are true in principal, but may have been altered to protect the individuals mentioned therein.

This is an amazing video Aaron!
New Sub Here Bro. Keep Up The Great Work
Great video! I’m a new subscriber. I’m adamantly opposed to the death penalty in all cases due to a number of reasons that I would love to get into if it weren’t waaaay past my bedtime. Look forward to viewing more of your videos soon.
I'm against death penalty, but there is room for politicians, they seem to be committing the biggest crimes against us.
Only heard it the left ear but good video like always go on lock down 23 and 1 or blood on the razor wire so many channels you can go on bro! Blow up do this for a living !!!
For certain figures, a sentence of life without parole may be suitable because they are historical persons who have been responsible for so much evil and misery that it's useful to keep them alive to remind new generations of the dangers they represent. Rudolf Hess comes to mind. On the other hand, the trial and rapid execution of Adolf Eichmann was a catharsis the Jewish people needed. Generally though, I think the death penalty is useless. Life with parole is harsh, but at least the convicted person, if innocent, remains alive in case exculpatory evidence comes to light.
I am mostly against the death penalty. I say mostly because sometimes i flip-flop. It has been shown not to be a deterrent . It is administered too long after the crime. The state should really not have the power to take lives, it is against the states own laws.
Your volume is super low. I can barely hear you on my phone
Thanks for the heads up, I switched recording equipment for this video, and I guess I left my audio levels low.
The death penalty is a good litmus test for me when discussing politics with someone. If they they support it they are either not a serious political thinker or someone I would consider a political enemy. I would consider it a "special circumstances" murder committed by the state.
I mostly agree with you and yet, when there is a murder, someone(s) decided unilaterally to impose the death penalty on someone else, without the benefit of due process. Unless it is self defense or an accident, the executer must believe in penalty by death. Am I wrong?
I like your shirt, it goes with your chair, and the combination has me more riveted to what you're saying (just on a side note)- and is fitting to the topic at hand.
Another good video
Thank you for your insightful comment.
Death and execution is such a heavy subject it is hard to be certain of anything.
Yes, murderers have made a choice, taken a life, weighed in as to what they believe as it were.
Thanks for listening.
