Lolly, I hadn't used my staple board for a long time so I came here to refresh my memory. Can you believe I never even knew there was that little storage drawer in the base!!!! Thank you for the lesson!
That's pretty cool. At first I thought it was silly but actually when you showed the point you can staple anywhere on a page, that's really a good thing. We can staple in sheets to the spine of a journal, etc. but if the large doesn't work, I wouldn't bother buying it. Keep at it, "We R Memory Keepers". They are kinda expensive so it's gotta work perfectly!
This is a very good demonstration. I actually have this, and don’t get on with it. After watching this, and following your tips, I might find it better. Thanks !
This seems like a wonderful answer for getting way in to the middle of large areas. Perhaps if you play around the large staple will eventually work. I would contact the maker as maybe it is a bad one. Anyway, thank you so much for demonstrating it . You are the best!
I recently got the staple board at Tuesday Morning, however, it's slightly different and says it "Poster Shop" but still put out by WRMK/Am Crafts, mine is exactly the same, only difference is plastic that holds the paper with the magnets is dark blue versus turquoise. I found the staples that fit this....they are available at Michaels, I found them at my store in the aisle where the model cars were located. I just happened upon them after watching your video. They are labeled Poster Shop and there are 500 staples, 3 sizes, 4 colors and are $1.99 per package. I grabbed four packages in case they get hard to find. I hope this is helpful...looks like a fun tool to use! Great tutorial!
Hey! Thank you for another lovely video. I found all three sizes sold together at Hobby Lobby about two weeks ago. So if you have one you might try there! Thank you for an enjoyable video.
thanks. Viewers have been commenting about websites that also carry the staples, so we can always browse through the comments if we need to order some. :)
Thanks for the review! I ordered this board an am waiting for it to come. Hopefully my tiny stables fit into the Small unit. I live in Malaysia and there are mini staplers and colored staples in all bookstores and stationary shop here. So far, so good on not having any of the color coming off.
I just bought mine at Hobby Lobby marked down to $5 from $19.99. They had one package of medium staples for $1.99. I used the medium stapler to make my Lent packets. Not bad. TFS. Linda.
Thank you! Now I know how to use it! I’ve Had it for about three months now and I wasn’t doing it correctly. Did you happen to find refills? Tfs! Jamie
i have big one i think they made years ago for staple that have words and pictures on. i like that. i do not know i feel about the board. like you said about the large, i would probably never get it straight
I'm using mine again! Can't find my long arm stapler, and this one puts the staples exactly where I need them in the middle of a traveler's notebook insert!
Thanks so much for the review because I've been curious. I've had a similar issue with a heavy duty office stapler if the paper stack wasn't thick enough.. Tracey
thanks for the review I saw a refill for those staples on Amazon had to put in the search bar we r multi staple pack for staple board and it comes up or put in the search bar staple board, click on the item and then below states what other customers buy with this product and there is the refill staple pack --hope that helps Susan
You really should somehow put this as an addendum on your video or in your descriptive area so everyone will know that it did finally work. I saw someone mention that she saw Mary’s reply so I went looking for it. I just think you give the impression that at least one third of the product is bad so it would be nice to have a correction, if you feel one is justified. I did really like your video and it was a great tutorial for me. Now I might get the thing out of its package!
Great find Lolly. Maybe try regular staples in the large instead of the fat ones. Or maybe try a thicker stack? That's great for a lot of projescts! TFS Lolly.
If you watch to the end, you'll see that I did get the large one to work -- it was just the angle of operation. :) Which is a relief. I don't want to give a bad review just because of operator error.
Great review! Maybe the staple that didn't work well was defective (the whole row)... "not all the staples are created equal" 😬. Also it can be the pressure/speed you apply, that happens to me (with a regular stapler) when I do it slow. Thanks for sharing with us!
I finally got the WRM staple board! I almost use up the staples that came with the WRM staple board, but seems that the staples is not stapling good! Do you have any tips on this board?
Lolly Palooza, sweetdrops45 May be international, in which case she/he might not have Hobby Lobby in her/his country. Perhaps some of the online stores that the commenters mention. 😉
I think it might be the magnets are slightly off on the big stapler and it's taking the stapler placement slightly to the left and that's why they're not coming out right. And because it's magnetized, you can't override it. I hope WRMK fixes it.
Couple questions for you. I was wondering if you tried fitting standard sized staples in one of the sizes to see if they work, and more importantly, for cost concerns, if it can be refilled with non brand staples, to be used more frequently. Also, I was wondering if the directions had any recommendations about using particularly, the large one, and any tips it might offer? I love this idea, as I do a lot of their ideas. But I have to be honest here, I am finding the execution on a lot of their products severely lacking. It is kind of disappointing. For example, the journal card maker, first needs arms like Hercules to maneuver, and even then creates a mess and does not really work. My corner chomper does not make perfectly rounded corners for me, half the time. I have to trim a little. It also won't cut through some acetate (not really thick either.) The flower punch board has very awkward cut shapes. The envelope punch board had lots of errors when it first came out. And the mega cropadile (the one with the huge arm,) is hard on my arms and wrist to use. The holes are not as clean as I would like too. I can't recall other examples off top of head, but for such a large well known company, I am a bit disappointed that they don't have the execution of these great ideas done better. The ideas are amazing though. You would think they would have great quality control and not issue a product with their name until they get it just right. Full retail, they are not cheap either. But I sure do love the ideas. I would buy this stapler, if they could be filled with standard staples, honestly. Being able to do long things alone would make it worth it, but not if I have to pay extra for special ones, or only get from them. I love the idea though. Thank you so much for taking the time to share this. I always love how you explain things so well, and so clearly! =) Happy New Year to you!
My large Crop-A-Dile doesn't make fuzzy holes, but you are right -- it takes strength. I am hearing that these are standard staples that can be put in the staplers. The medium is the regular size
Do you think - I value your opinion but no pressure - this would be good for a 4 year old? My granddaughter is 4 will be 5 in July and like most kids today acts 35 lol. She wants to staple paper - I want to push that on the paper Grandma. I said no way - I don't want her to get hurt. Then I get that dreaded my other Grandma lets me do it at her house B-). Yikes! I would be less leary of this putting a staple into her little finger. Naturally it wouldn't be any "serious" projects and of course I would supervise. I don't want her hurt but I don't want to be a the uncool Grama either LOL LOL. TFS
Lolly Palooza thank you for your response :-). Grumpa thinks I am being over protective so maybe I will let her try it. If she does it at her other grandma's I guess she's okay with it.
Laura Seiden, just so you know, I used to hang out with my dad in his office, and he let me staple papers when I was your granddaughter’s age. Yes, I stapled straight through my little thumb! No lasting damage, but my father almost passed out. Lol! Maybe there are other office supplies that would be as interesting yet less challenging for little hands. 😁
Glad that you finally got it to work in the end. I remember another person reviewing this and she struggled when it came to other paper types as it was still a learning curve with each new paper to not get it to jump/slip. It's a great idea and I'm still tempted to buy it!! Are the small staples the size of the ones used in Tim Holtz tiny attacher? If it's the .25 staples then you can get refills loads cheaper at office supplies or Amazon.
The medium staples are the standard office staples. The small staples are NOT compatible with Tim Holtz, unfortunately. They are a pinch larger than Tim Holtz ones.
Maureen Costa some crafters use staples decoratively, and to put a staple in the middle of a large piece of paper is beyond the reach of a standard stapler.

if you watch to the end, you'll see that it was my fault the large didn't work.
I bought the stapler and the refills at Hobby Lobby -no shipping! Haven't used it yet because I wasn't sure how. Now I will - thanks for the tutorial!
great! :)
Thank you so much for your craft tool reviews...really helps!
You're welcome. Thanks for watching.
This is a very good demonstration. I actually have this, and don’t get on with it. After watching this, and following your tips, I might find it better. Thanks !
I can see how it could be helpful for stapling the center of long traveler's notebook inserts!
my birthday is coming up...I need this for TN inserts! I am glad you tried this! Sandy
Yes, a great birthday gift!
This seems like a wonderful answer for getting way in to the middle of large areas. Perhaps if you play around the large staple will eventually work. I would contact the maker as maybe it is a bad one. Anyway, thank you so much for demonstrating it . You are the best!
If you watch to the end, you'll see that I did get it working. I finally focused on the angle of pushing down, and it worked well.
I recently got the staple board at Tuesday Morning, however, it's slightly different and says it "Poster Shop" but still put out by WRMK/Am Crafts, mine is exactly the same, only difference is plastic that holds the paper with the magnets is dark blue versus turquoise. great! strange aisle to be located, but glad you found them.

thanks. Viewers have been commenting about websites that also carry the staples, so we can always browse through the comments if we need to order some. :)
Thanks Lolly. It looks like there is a learning curve. I'v been wondering about this for simple pamphlet style books. Looks like it a winner!
And my cover was a super thick file folder, and it did well.
Thanks for the review! I ordered this board an am waiting for it to come. Hopefully my tiny stables fit into the Small unit. I live in Malaysia and there are mini staplers and colored staples in all bookstores and stationary shop here. So far, so good on not having any of the color coming off.
I hope they work. I know the Tim Holtz staples don't fit.
This is so awesome! Great to know you did get it to work! I think I will need this!!! Thanks for sharing hun.
thank you very much!
I just bought myself one as well. Blitsy and Amazon have the refill staples.
thank you
I just bought mine at Hobby Lobby marked down to $5 from $19.99. They had one package of medium staples for $1.99. I used the medium stapler to make my Lent packets. Not bad. TFS. Linda.
SCORE! Congrats. I lost my long arm stapler, so I'm using this to make my traveler's notebook inserts.
Thank you for the review. I was thinking about getting this. I believe after your demo I will go ahead and purchase!
Thank you! I think it's going to be fun!
Great Review, Lolly. I did find the replacement staples set in all 3 sizes at Simon Says Stamp online, but they are sold out right now.
I hear Amazon has them, too
Thank you! Now I know how to use it!
I’ve Had it for about three months now and I wasn’t doing it correctly.
Did you happen to find refills?
Tfs! Jamie
I used to sell the refills when I uploaded this video
great review, i can see myself making several signatures for mini to large journals and weekly planners. tfs!!
You'll love it. It's so much easier than trying to guess where the staple is going to go!
i have big one i think they made years ago for staple that have words and pictures on. i like that. i do not know i feel about the board. like you said about the large, i would probably never get it straight
It did take a bit of work, but I hung in there and got it!
I got one of there at Hobby Lobby for 5.00 not fully knowing what it actually was. Thanks for the video.
I'm using mine again! Can't find my long arm stapler, and this one puts the staples exactly where I need them in the middle of a traveler's notebook insert!
Lilly Thanks for the review I do think the idea is great but there are a few things I would like for WRMK to work out. Thanks again
Glad I finally got it figured out!
Thanks so much for the review because I've been curious. I've had a similar issue with a heavy duty office stapler if the paper stack wasn't thick enough..
Tracey
I thought that could be an issue, too.
thanks for the review

Thanks for the review. I'm totally interested now.
Yes, it's pretty cool!
Oh I would love this to Staple projects and homemade embellishments. Tfs Shirlene
Especially now that I know it's working right!
Nice review! Thanks for all the info, I always wondered about that product.
Yes, it took a bit to get the hang of it, but in the end it worked. :)
They think of everything, dont they? Thanks for the review. I love the concept of it. TFS! mona
Yes, it's pretty cool!
Great review. I think I will be getting one of these for myself.
When I finally was able to get my camera mount out of the way, and line my body up right, the thing worked great!

Lolly Palooza I did see that after I hit post lol. Love all of the fun things you bring us Lolly. Thank you for what you do. ♡
Great review! Joanna's also has the refills for this product.
Thank you :)
Great review! Maybe the staple that didn't work well was defective (the whole row)... "not all the staples are created equal" 😬. Also it can be the pressure/speed you apply, that happens to me (with a regular stapler) when I do it slow. Thanks for sharing with us!
Hope you can finish watching -- I said in the end that I got it to work. It was operator error
Lolly Palooza Oops It is my English, I'm glad it worked 💕
Could you use this for saddle stapling booklets?
yes, but if you are going to staple through a thick booklet, you'd have to use the large stapler in the set.
Wow what a great idea! Great review TFS
You're welcome. Glad I found this!
I bought refill at Michael's. In the children's craft section
thank you
I finally got the WRM staple board! I almost use up the staples that came with the WRM staple board, but seems that the staples is not stapling good! Do you have any tips on this board?
Just what I show in the video. Make sure you are pushing straight down. :) Refill staples can be bought at Hobby Lobby.
Lolly Palooza, sweetdrops45 May be international, in which case she/he might not have Hobby Lobby in her/his country. Perhaps some of the online stores that the commenters mention. 😉
You are not alone in your thinking on this almost every review on this i have seen everyone says the same things.
It's definitely an issue with having thick enough paper AND not sliding.
Darn, you posted 5 years ago and I’ve never seen this before. Have to keep an eye out for it.
And unfortunately, WRMK (manufacturer) tends to make things but not make the refills easy to obtain.
I think it might be the magnets are slightly off on the big stapler and it's taking the stapler placement slightly to the left and that's why they're not coming out right. And because it's magnetized, you can't override it. I hope WRMK fixes it.
It seemed to work finally (if you watched the whole video)
I watched it to the end and the big stapler was never quite right even when you stapled from straight up on top off camera.
Crafty Come Lately right, but then I did it off camera and did make it work. I added that info in text across the screen.
Ah ok, just rewatched and saw what I misread in the captions. I'm glad it worked out!
Good find Lolly. As far as the big staples, try regular staples instead of those fat ones.
Now that it's working, I can use them.

💖💖💖💖💖🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟thanks for the review.
You are so welcome
I got staples for mine @ Hobby Lobby.
yay! :)
I’m thinking the large is good for lots of paper
:) Thanks for watching
Love it. I'd buy that !!
Solves some of our problems!
I think I got it! Thanks!
Yay!
When you pushed down on the stapler the paper and the stapler shifted, in the large mode. That could be why it didn't work.
The larger Staples are staple gun as in hardware store staples.
I don't think you watched it to the end, did you? :)
Just read your reply to Mary. Hooray!!!!!
Yes indeed. Glad it worked.
Try standing up when you punch down on it. You're much more likely to go straight down.
Thank you. I already got it to work, as I explained in the video. :) The biggest problem was trying to operate it with my camera mount in my way.
I saw this and didn't didn't get it .. Thank you for sharing...
Yes, at first we wonder why we need staplers, until we see it in action!
Thx for this video!
You are so welcome. TFW
I received this at last years stamp & scrap expo - mine had the EXACT same problems so it isn't you. These are a cute idea but don't work very well.
Stephanie Taylor yes, they take quite a bit of fiddling to be able to work with them. I can use them well now, but I find I don't use them much.
Oh PS: Scrapbook dot com has the refill stapes
Thanks!
Maybe, you don’t need a staple that strong for paper. Try the large staple on chip board?
Or many layers of paper? :) Thanks for watching
Blitsy you sells the staples for this!!
thank you!
Walmart has the Staples online about #1.79
thank you!
May be yours is defective you should write the company for another one and see if it gets better or is the same?
It works. If you watch to the end, you'll see that I added text over the video saying I got it to work. : )
You have to stand up and push straight down.
yes, which I mentioned at the end of the video.

Lolly Palooza ahhh shame. Guess we'd be stuck buying their refills then.
I don’t know... this is one tool I won’t buy. I feel like it just doesn’t make sense - more work than necessary.
it does take practice, and it helps for stapling in the center of a notebook you are binding together.
If you can not find staple why spend money on that machine?
Well, five years ago when the video was made, staples were readily available. Not sure where to buy them now.
Waste of money. Don't see the point of it.
Maureen Costa some crafters use staples decoratively, and to put a staple in the middle of a large piece of paper is beyond the reach of a standard stapler.
