- Sneak peak of the Ecoflow Delta Pro 3 and it's new features over the previous generation. What do you think?
240v on a smaller device?!
#jasonoid #ecoflow
These battery storage systems have gotten better and better. Pulling the trigger soon.
This is what I have been waiting for
Holy cow
It's got some upgrades over V1 👍
@Jasonoid one of the mppt is only 60volts? It's not that easy to get 2600 watts of solar?
I was waiting for your video on this exact solar power station.
@zfontain1975 it has 2 mppts , the VOC is 150v like the old delta pro
@@netsai61 one mppt 150volts, other is 60volts.
Thanks for posting & your efforts!
This looks like it will be a very interesting power station! Looking forward to your review!
I have one and love it, makes a great UPS for big screen tv and entertainment system until you need it for power outage
Going to wait until the refurbished models drop. That's how i got my delta pro with a large discount
Looking forward to your review 😊
Sweet unit
Extremely beautiful anf useful
I have just had the old one less than a year they should let me get trade in value for a new one
Love this video! What inverter and battery do you recommend for this same setup but a 48v system?
One thing is it stackable, or upgrade ready.? Can ypu add Battery/wattage capacity? Run some constant 240v at max amp draw. and see how long till drained. Oh and temp. readings on inverter and batteries, can't forget Lithium batteries can explode!
Nice
Very very nice DrJ'
Delta Pro3 new boss on the block!!! We need that bad boy...
👍🏼👍🏼
Nice!
You know!
Will it work with Delta Pro V1 batterys?
If the unit is outputting 240V can it be charged via 120V? - this is what V1 couldn't do.
The DPU can charge at 120v input and output 240v. I'll need to do some testing. I'll try to find out about the V1 batteries as well. The connector seems the same.
Can it discharge 240v while charging at 120v?? For emergency hybrid backup system with a small gas generator?
Now I wish I had purchased this instead of Anker F3800... 🫤
Beautiful
Sounds good but whats the charging time??
How much quieter it compared to delta pro? Not based on decibels but actually hearing it
I don't have the original DP, but the fans on this are much more quiet than the first gen Delta Max and the Delta 2 fans.
Pricey
Will the Alternator Charger interface as well?
Europe is waiting
Will the original Delta pro batteries work with this new Delta pro?
Yes
What happens if we're really grid down for months/years and updating firmware is impossible? Will this very expensive solar cell fail me when I need it most?
It doesn't need firmware updates to function. It will function right out of the box and it only gets better with updates over the life of the power station.
@@Jasonoid Thank you!
Will a delta pro extra battery connect to it?
Yes, it's backwards compatible with the first gen batteries!
@@Jasonoid thanks for answering! Costco let me return my Delta Pro from 2 years ago because a firmware update bricked it, but I didn’t get the extra battery from them, so I still have that… you just earned a sub haha
Should be able to run a deep well pump, right?
4000w @ 240v is about 16.6 amps
If your well pump falls within those specs it should power it up.
The Ultra is still better, But this is a good cheaper option . But this is really a Slap in the Face for those who just purchased the DPU. Is this as quiet? How many amps is the 240v 30 or 50? What kind of expansion batteries would this use, Something similar to the Delta Pro 2?
240v is gonna be at 15amps since the inverter is only 4000 watts . It has its own expansion battery 🔋 , I don't know if they gonna be interchangeable with the DPU batteries . I think this is gonna compete with the anker f3800
Still waiting to find out on battery compatibility. It seems it will best compete with the Anker F3800, correct. The inverter is good for 4000w, so 16 amps at 240v, and 32 amps at 120v.
@@Jasonoid is it quiet like the Ultra?
@@Moes_Prep_and_Tech it seems quiet, I haven't finished all my testing. Got lots of testing to go in order to get that exact number.
How much?
Price will be released on June 24th
Still allows EV charging?
It does allows 240v charging input, I don't have an EV charger to test with.
@@Jasonoid public EV station ?
The current Delta Pro being discounted to $2500 is an incredible deal.
I wonder if I should get one. Cheaper EV charging generator out there. Can’t build one from scratch that comes even close.
But the new model might have good new features too, yet will cost a premium again.
@@TheCornucopiaProject-bd5jk that is an awesome deal if you don't need 240v!
@@Jasonoid I don’t need 240v.
Is 240v the main improvement on the new model?
@@TheCornucopiaProject-bd5jk 240v output, 2600w of solar instead of 1600w. Some other little improvements. I never had the DP1 so not exactly sure.
How does one become a product tester for Ecoflow ?
They contacted me over two years ago when they saw my in depth power station testing videos on UA-cam. I have tested a bunch of their products since.
You need a channel with a fairly large subscriber base AND you need to do review videos that are thorough. The second one can be ignored if you’re a HUGE channel and they just want you to shill their product
I don’t think I’ve seen many if any
Can you use the delta pro 1 backup battery with the delta pro 3?
How much did that cost you
About $2600
@@Jasonoid thanks I'll be buying one when it gets around 1800 dollars
How much
What happened to the Delta Pro 2 then?
To avoid confusion, this will align with other Delta 3 products.... At least that's my guess. Too late to call it the Delta Pro 2.
@@Jasonoid I would've guessed the same, but nontheless a silly marketing-decision in my view. Different product lines shouldn't have to share naming-schemes.
I’m about to buy a delta pro 2 … hmm
Tey, real time.
240V at how many amps?
4000w / 240v = 16.6amps
@@Jasonoid Thanks for the reply. Much appreciated.
Looks like they just ripped off the Zendure superbase V design
Nah, it's just like the gen 1 Delta pro
unit.
Why nobody ever mentions how LOUD this thing is
Cuz it's not loud...
@@Jasonoid this one unlike other model has no ventilators?😂 Delta MAX has 3 ventilation options off/min/max. On min you cannot already stand next to it. On off you can have only one sad lightbulb plugged it. So how is that this one “not loud”?
@@JustMrFox it has fans 🤣😂.... The fans are upgraded and are much better than previous Ecoflow products. You cant hear the fans under a 2000w load. If the load goes above 2000w, the fans kick up but they aren't very loud. Full testing video will be out on Tuesday where you can watch the performance.

@@Jasonoid thank you very much, subscribed! please do the sound test(?)🙏. For several months already searching for something to use in my apartment, can’t make a decision…
The down graded the skreen 😅
I bet I can build a better system for less than half the price.
That's very true! You need to understand this system isn't meant for people that have DIY skills and electrical knowledge. This is plug n play so the price is increased...
What a toy,
Does this make the delta pro more competitive with delta 2 max?
Nice
