Motor mouthing is not funny but the example from friends was humorous. Although I never considered crap a swear/curse word. I considered along the words like darn and heck on how those are words used to substitute swear/curse words but were not as rude. Overall I agree with what you said, witty humor and puns are better.
ThePortal64 Correction: puns are only funny when seen from a first-person perspective. I find few things so painful as being on the receiving end of a pun.
