LandSCAPE 20 Prototype : Highlight Reel

Once up a time, I created an app called LandSCAPE which let you design battlefields for the Heroscape boardgame. This was WAY back in 2004.
20 years later, I'm having a little fun and re-imagining what a similar app would be like today. This is an exercise in testing as much tech as possible, and brainstorming creative ways that allow people to interact with Heroscape and other hex-based games.
This isn't a trailer for an upcoming app. Everything in here is temp - from the UI to the actual 3D assets. This is just a highlight reel, featuring some fast cuts of what's possible - and I'm continuing to come up with more.
IF (and this is a big "if") I decide to turn it into a public app, then I'll get some real design in there, and release a real trailer. But until then - if you ever designed a Heroscape map in one of the old programs, this if for you.

I remember using LandScape! Virtual mapmakers have kept me in the hobby much longer than I would have otherwise and this new take on the app looks great. With Renegades Heroscape revival coming up, the community really needs something modern like this with mobile and tablet instructions for quick terrain building and virtual map sharing.
If that turns out to be the form of an official app or your own version with LandScape 2.0, I wish you the best with your developments. Lots of great features on show here even as an early prototype.
