My school wouldnt let me take chemistry even though i had high 90s in science, because my math and history classes were low. Made me absolutely hate school after that and our education system. They should allow specific study of things that interest and fascinate you, rather than a broad spectrum of stuff we never use

If you have ever been stumped trying to process a long surname, you likely have utilized "retrosynthetic & dimensional analyses" to correctly say the word. I once was in a strange town here in North Carolina called Chicamacamico. I would stare at the sign, and say, "Cheeka Maka Meeko", over & over and it didn't make sense! So I had to abandon the conventional left-to-right algorithm, and start with the end of the name, and sound it out backwards - meeko, kameeko, and voila, CheekAMA Kameeco, or Cheeka MAKAMAko rolled out naturally. I asked the man on the ferry, and he confirmed it was the latter. Math is only heavy if you're trying to see it through another's perspective, like the author of the text-book.

That same experimental process showing the destructive byproducts and contaminants for meth done various ways and all the other synthetics (fentanyl) sold by cartels would help educate and detere, but also perhaps help the medical community to see the addiction and medical care as holistically as possible due to chemical problems in the body beyond the patients psychology concerns.

Interestingly enough, one of the things that the DEA has noted in recent years is that the more involved the cartels are, the more pure the street level substances tend to be. The DEA even recently put out a report that significant portions of meth they were seizing off the streets was 96%+ pure.

Polyethylene buckets. With A LOT of chemistry you can use polyethylene instead of borosilicate which is the type of high temperature glass they're using in the lab, basically pyrex. The clandestine guys use jam jars and coffee jars for a LOT of stuff.

Anyone know why PCP in Montreal is different than the PCP in America? In Canada it came in powder form that you could snort. We would get weight from a Hell's Angel back in the early 2000's and sell them in caps for 10$CA. Even the high is a bit different. The stuff we would get from "Maudit" seemed cleaner.

Noticed it's different everywhere. Different names, different, methods, different, effects, sometimes even completely different substances. Here in Chicago, some people refer to both "Leaf" (Khat, Marijuana, or even Basil and Oregano sprayed with chemicals) AND "PCP" as sherm. Other people I've met have claimed that literal Formaldehyde provides the same effect as PCP. Others that K2 and Spice are just plant matter sprayed with PCP or Raid. It's honestly gotten confusing. People ignorantly don't know what they talk about or ingest. Wish there was a lab analysis that actually tests what all these substances truly are
