Apologies if this is rude and patient long before this was even announced, and you were able to play said game at the time, try the version of Among Us that people play in VR chat. Well I personally do not have a VR headset of any kind, I'm always told that people play that version before this was announced

I really hope it stays alive. Hopefully with a proper team, Schell Games, they’ll be able to pump new content out quicker.
It won't die quickly, 'cause it never lived. The normal Among Us is played by 5-6k people on a daily basis and most people can afford a game for 5 bucks (or whatever your currency is). But to play AU VR, you need a VR Headset (if you don't own one already) AND have 9 other people to also have a VR Headset and the game.

it will grow only if people are actually able to afford a VR headset. the cheapest one I found that will work with this is $50 but it comes with no controllers and those are expensive brand new
It won't grow, since they pretty much f... up anything since its peak. Also the VR version will be dead in like 1-2 months (if it's not right from the start).

As somebody that plays this, it really brings Among Us to the next level. Hearing the voices of kids and doing tasks using hands is really immersive.
The venting system having that little note to tell you where you're going is pretty cool!
I don't have a VR headset, but I look forward to watching other people play!

I played it just as it launched, it is really fun, anyone who doesnt have it, give it a try! 9/10, can (and probably will) get more updates to it such as accessories, more maps and roles.

@@AnonymousDefaultPerson Proximity chat would most likely be an option you can enable when making a server so if you're finding servers you could search for servers with and without proximity chat... I think that was obvious

I love how this is like rewatching Among Us become what it is today. One map, 10 player lobbies. And pretty simple.
We don't want among us in VR we want new features, fixing bugs that made it playing on phones impossible, new maps, things that will get the game back on its feet not this cartoony among us in VR
