Born & Raised On L.I., been to NYC many times. Seen more on your video than I have ever seen before. Glad you enjoyed your NYC vacation as I enjoyed watching it once more through your eyes. Thank you my friends.
I just found your channel and loved your video! Have you ever tried riding the Staten Island ferry while in the Financial District for the views of the skyline and Statue of Liberty?
Really enjoyed this video, we are going to New York in 2 weeks time so have been watching lots of videos about it and yours really stands out. Tanks for sharing
Great vlog! My family is from NYC and though I grew up in Jersey, the city was just a train ride away and we were there often. You showed some of the best of my beloved city and I hope you get back there to explore more: go to a museum, see a show, etc. Love you two! ❤
Welcome to my home love you guys enjoy your time here and yes les Halle's is amazing I've eaten there several times !!!!you guys need to come back soon for a longer stay travel safe
I was USAF spouse for 20 years, one of my dear friends was in the Pentagon, I haven't made it to NYC yet I am not sure I can. We are headed to Europe soon and we are visiting Normandy and Omaha Beach while there, I know I will have the emotions going. Thank you to your Son for his service to our Nation.
Recently went to 911 memorial, Once I saw and heard the water, I began to cry and become so overwhelmed with the thought of what actually happened on that day. I wept as If it was one of my loved ones were lost that day. My heart was so heavy. But It's absolutely beautiful! NYC is a great place to visit!
Absolutely loved this video. You guys rock. I'm a native NYer (I live in Queens) and work in Manhattan. You guys are one of the few Vloggers that really appreciated NYC and did it right even if it was only 2 days. My hard headed boyfriend even enjoyed it! He's a fan now. That interview with the Pizza owner was a great highlight! I love all your videos but this one was special to my heart! And you found the Hot Dog Guy (Billy) which showed your true know- how about NYC. You guys did NYC right and I enjoyed every minute of it. I always look forward to your next videos no matter where they are..
How did you get from your hotel to the Brooklyn cruise port? If you took a taxi or Uber how much did it cost and how long did it take? Thinking of booking a cruise on the MSC Meriviglia.
Visited NYC in 2011 from Australia- 911 memorial was still under construction, but still a sobering experience. Thank you for reminding me of the memories and awesome experiences shared with my then 11 yr old ❤
Good Monday Morning IAM Hoping That You Both Are Having A Divine Day ❤ Thank You So Much For Exploring My Hometown New York IAM From Brooklyn NY You Both Have A Terrific Cruise Much Blessings And Hugs Always Ms British Y Gray From Tampa Florida
Awesome vlog. I’m going back to New York for a second time for a few days. Visited last year in May for 5 days and loved it. Your feet get tired but there is so much to do there. The sight seeing and the food is awesome. Looks like you guys had so much fun!
I was born and raised in New Jersey. Spent many times at the Statue and Ellis Island. So many trips to NYC. Best pizza in Little Italy. Pinebank Arch is in the W 65th. Street area. Happy to see you enjoying NYC
The 40 years I have been living in N.Y. and I have never been half the places you guys been to. I definitely need to go to the Empire State building. I can't wait to see your vlogs for the MSC. I go in Dec from N.Y. Have funnn!!!!
Hey! Just like to say this video was amazing. So glad you guys had fun in New York. Normally, longer-than-average videos can be a bore but I enjoyed every second of this video and also kinda wished it was longer too! Hope to see you guys back in New York soon! 😍
Love this!! We watch your cruise videos and love them, we are going to NY 🍎 in December so I’m happy to see what you think about it. Looking forward to your next adventures.
This was super helpful thanks! We're taking our son to Cooperstown for a baseball tournament this summer and have plans to spend a few days in the city after.
Hello. Just found your channel and am a new subscriber. My wife and I loved this video. We are heading to NYC this year and your video made us feel so comfortable and ready to travel to the city. We are looking forward to watching more of your videos. Thanks so much!
You two are just awesome. In Nov. this year we will be in New York for two days before our cruise on the Norwegian Ecstasy, and you’ve given me so many great ideas on where to stay and go before boarding. Thanks so much ❤❤❤
You wore a Boston shirt to NYC? Brave soul. 🤣 Loved my meal at Juniors. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad meal anywhere in NYC - and that includes a classic “dirty water” hot dog.
I love that you guys visited NYC, I was born and raised in central NJ and NYC was just a quick train ride. Such an amazing city with lots to do and see. I’m glad that you both enjoyed your time there. Looking forward to your MSC videos. I’m considering an October sailing out of Brooklyn…so I’m very interested to hear your thoughts on the ship.
Juniors also has the best NY style cheesecake as far as I remember. I used to have monthly meetings down in Livingston street (Brooklyn) and my wife worked at 30 Rock. We would have date nights on some days before heading back to our apartment in the Bronx. Those were the days. We moved down south 2019 but we've been watching EECC even back then. I'm very happy you guys had fun!
I love your video. I have been in New York but just before the towers went down. I have to plan to be there on New Year one of these years. Do you guys ever get stomach issues? Street food is not the most healthy.❤
We’ve been having unbelievable weather in in NY; we’re having a true Spring for a change. We live about an hour north in the Hudson Valley.. glad you’re sailing out of NYC… going under the Verrazano Bridge is great. 🚢 🗽 OMG Jason wearing a Boston shirt in NY 😱
If you are ever in New York on July 4th, you must watch the fireworks from a water taxi on the East River. As much as you enjoyed the sunset river cruise, you would love seeing the fireworks with the lights of the city in the background. Love your videos! We’re boarding the Eurodam to Alaska on Saturday and helped prepare for our trip through your videos. The Jordans Alabama Gulf Coast
Great Vlog! You are motivating us to visit Manhattan! Ironically, we live in NYC (Queens) and never go there to hang out. We may step foot on Manhattan Island once or twice a year. Usually, to take a cruise from the Port. Prices are high..very touristy. Horrorid parking. Queens and Brooklyn have better food overall and better prices. Great spots in tge boogy down Bronx and Staten Island. You can get great views from gorgeous parks in the boroughs. The neighborhood of Long Island City in Queens has it's own skyline bigger than most American cities. Downtown Brooklyn is growing as well. Manhattan isn't what it used to be. It was really, really, really fun back in the 80's and 90's but a bit dangerous. It got really safe with Guiliani and Bloomberg, but Diblasio, Hochul, and Adams are messing it up. Crime is rising. We have to get back in there again. One correction on the 9-11 memorial. There are 2 reflection pools that form the exact footprint of the original towers. We may spend a day in Manhattan before we do the exact same MSC cruise on July 2nd. We are doing the Yachtclub, and it's our 1st time on MSC. We are veteran cruisers, though. Never been to the Brooklyn cruise terminal. ( and I was born in Brooklyn) lol. You guys did a great job highlighting things to do. Maybe we ll do a sunset dinner cruise.
The 911 Memorial was very well done. It was very sad and emotionally draining. Love seeing Broadway shows when I’m there. Enjoy eating all the culturally diverse food. We always take the subway to Harlem for excellent soul food at Sylvia’s. I’m looking at flights now. Thanks for reminding me that I’m due for another trip! 😉
Love all your videos. I’m coming to New York in October for a few days then going on a New England Canada cruise on Princess out of Brooklyn. I noticed your cruise left out of Brooklyn also, what is the best way to get to the cruise port?
I had so many chances to go to New York when I was Younger, but my Family only went there for a day of shopping and leave the same night from a travel company on thanksgiving. I need at least two or three days in New York and not during a holiday.
Next time you guys are in NYC you must check out the USS Intrepid. It's a decommissioned aircraft carrier on the Hudson and is now an air, sea, and space museum. Count on spending at least 3 hours in there.
When are you kids coming to Michigan? LOL The motor city and Motown!! And, true beauty is on Mackinac Island and you can't forget Frankenmuth! Hope to see you soon!!
I just love your videos. You have giving me ideas for our trip there in 2025 for a Canada/ New England cruise. I just have one question. Why you change your end music. I loved that tuba song and associated it with your videos? ❤🇨🇦
Jason I saw you were wearing a Boston t-shirt in New York!! Be careful! 🤣 the Rivalry between New York and Boston is very strong in all sports and aspects of life😆
Do you recall what pier you left from? I am seeing 2 different options. LOVED your NYC vlogs, the food looked fantastic. I love corned beef and pastrami and I bet it’s the best in NYC.
There are a ton of fun museums to see. The hop on is fun too. You can get great show tickets right off Times Square. Hope u learned how to grab a taxi. It’s a life skill.! I don’t travel subway as many undesirable people can be found there at times.
Love NYC! On our last trip we missed the opening of the 9/11 Memorial Museum buy a week so I would like to go back and see that. We've all hit the other high spots but always love Broadway and walking around Central Park!
I went in summer of 2002 or thereabouts. Don't remember the month but right after 9/11 they had erected boards with photos on them saying "Have You Seen Me?" at Grand Central. Those boards were still up when I went. It was very sobering. I haven't been back since the museum was built but yeah, I don't think I could handle that either.
So fun. I live here and haven’t done some of the things you experienced. So glad you had a great time. I hope you got cheesecake from Juniors. It’s soooo good.
I know this video is a year old, but great video! I wanted to let you know why NYC pronounces it HOW-stun street and not HUE-stun like in TX. It's because they are named after 2 different people both with the last name Houston. The city in TX is named after Sam Houston who pronounced it HUE-stun and the street in NY is named after William Houston, who pronounced his name HOW-stun. Glad you enjoyed NYC. I'm a native. If you come back, explore northern Manhattan in the 100 and 200ths way above Central Park. There's Harlem, Washington Hts, Inwood and lots of hills, views of the Hudson from a much higher elevation, parks, cultures and ethnicities, The Cloisters Museum, and a very different version of Manhattan that tourists don't usually see.
P.S.: Guts wearing the Red Sox tee in NYC! I know, I once wore a Yankees jacket to leave on an October cruise out of Boston! 😅 I asked a toll booth guy if I was heading the right way, and he just laughed at me.
I went in 2018 to the 911 memorial the emotions of this place. My boyfriend is a retired marine and it about brought him to his knees. But we took a ncl cruise out of New York
As a native nyer, some of the tourist stuff is kinda fun, but go the museums! Research really good restaurants downtown and in Brooklyn. Walk Central Park and Prospect Park. And Katz's deli is overpriced and touristy and delicious!
New York City is just one of those places you need to get to once in your lifetime. ❤
Born & Raised On L.I., been to NYC many times. Seen more on your video than I have ever seen before. Glad you enjoyed your NYC vacation as I enjoyed watching it once more through your eyes. Thank you my friends.

I was USAF spouse for 20 years, one of my dear friends was in the Pentagon, I haven't made it to NYC yet I am not sure I can. I lived here all my life. Glad to see you had a wonderful time. 😊
How did you get from your hotel to the Brooklyn cruise port? If you took a taxi or Uber how much did it cost and how long did it take? Thinking of booking a cruise on the MSC Meriviglia.

I am planning on getting back at it. And actually on this trip Jason and I split everything we ate and walked a TON! So really didn’t do bad.
Whem you mentioned "pizza" I was worried but then you were at John's, WELL DONE!!!
I love NYC! I’ve been twice and haven’t seen much at all! We did do a walking food tour and that was a great way to taste several restaurants!
This was super helpful thanks! We're taking our son to Cooperstown for a baseball tournament this summer and have plans to spend a few days in the city after.
I just have to see the Memorial, even on your video, and get teary!
We have been to NYC twice and would go back tomorrow … it’s literarily the city that never sleeps … just amazing - from Cape Town South Africa ❤❤❤❤
Welcome to the Big Apple. Sorry you missed the Naked Cowboy in Times Square. Love those deli sandwiches. Lunch for two days.😊

Great!! Have fun in NYC and on your cruise.
48 hours isn't enough time, the best thing about NYC is seeing Broadway shows, I recommend Once Upon a One More Time and Funny Girl.
You wore a Boston shirt to NYC? Brave soul. 🤣 Loved my meal at Juniors. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad meal anywhere in NYC - and that includes a classic “dirty water” hot dog.

It is really cool sailing under the bridge!
Thank you for sharing your video Jason. See you New York in July.👍😍

That would be incredible!
Jason, it’s the Boston T-shirt for me! You need an I love NY shirt!!!!
From Grand Central, you can take a shuttle train marked S to Times Square. Great video. Love Juniors.
Great video. I like Jason’s wood glasses. 👍👍

New York is amazing!
Amazing video of NYC🤩
Juniors red velvet cheesecake is YUM!!!!!!

Maybe this summer! I would love to do a long road trip.
We stayed at the Edison around the corner from Tmes Square, and then once in New Jersey and had to take the bus in which was a real pain!
Oooo, John's Pizzeria. My FAVORITE!!!
love his singing voice
I just love your videos. You have giving me ideas for our trip there in 2025 for a Canada/ New England cruise. I just have one question. Why you change your end music. I loved that tuba song and associated it with your videos? ❤🇨🇦
I miss it so much!! Someone bought the rights to the music and has been hitting everyone of our videos with copyright so we had to change it 😢
Jason I saw you were wearing a Boston t-shirt in New York!! Be careful! 🤣 the Rivalry between New York and Boston is very strong in all sports and aspects of life😆
It's really not that serious...😂
He didn’t realize what he was wearing until we posted a picture on Facebook and it was pointed out. But no one in NYC said anything 👍
Alisa how did you get from the sunset cruise back to your hotel?
We walked. It was only a 20ish minute walk.
Do you recall what pier you left from? I am seeing 2 different options. LOVED your NYC vlogs, the food looked fantastic. I love corned beef and pastrami and I bet it’s the best in NYC.
We have had Bleeker St pizza.Which did you like better?
Bleeker St was the bomb!! Be sure to watch our next video which will be the NYC food tour 👍
Great video ❤❤❤❤
Love your stuff! Just a heads up it's pronounced Howstun 😊. Looking forward to more
Great video, it makes me really excited to visit New York City!🏙
Aww man did you try the nonna Maria pizza at Bleeker street pizza Alisa ? We went there in December and it was amazing 😁
Heck yeah we did!!! A NYC food tour will be the next video.
There are a ton of fun museums to see. The hop on is fun too. You can get great show tickets right off Times Square. Hope u learned how to grab a taxi. It’s a life skill.! I don’t travel subway as many undesirable people can be found there at times.
No taxis on this trip… it was intimidating 😂
SO Awesome!!!😊
You can't see "the whole city" on the Circle Line, as cool as it is.
Love NYC! On our last trip we missed the opening of the 9/11 Memorial Museum buy a week so I would like to go back and see that. We've all hit the other high spots but always love Broadway and walking around Central Park!
My favorite spot is "Strawberry Fields"!
How was the hotel? We're looking for a place to stay in NYC.
It is a great hotel… Times Square is just a bit crazy.

That Bethesda fountain plaza, I believe, was featured in the John Wick: Chapter 2 movie where Winston makes him 'excommunicado'.
P.S.: Guts wearing the Red Sox tee in NYC! I know, I once wore a Yankees jacket to leave on an October cruise out of Boston! 😅 I asked a toll booth guy if I was heading the right way, and he just laughed at me.
Haha! Jason wasn’t even thinking about his shirt until we posted a picture on Facebook and people pointed it out… ooops! But no one said a word 😂
Electric city!🔥
I went in 2018 to the 911 memorial the emotions of this place. My boyfriend is a retired marine and it about brought him to his knees. But we took a ncl cruise out of New York
As a native nyer, some of the tourist stuff is kinda fun, but go the museums! Research really good restaurants downtown and in Brooklyn. Walk Central Park and Prospect Park. And Katz's deli is overpriced and touristy and delicious!
