- SSH is the Swiss Army Knife of networking in the Linux world. I stinking love SSH. In fact, you should really really really watch the short SSH playlist/course I have on my channel here:
snar.co/ssh
In this video we go over the objective which talks about SSH features, including where config files live. A couple demos, and then I work really hard to encourage everyone to watch my other SSH videos, because not only are they informative -- I think they're FUN. (That said, I'm a nerd, through and through...)
The CompTIA Linux+ objectives are available here: snar.co/plusobjectives

I got woken up by the cat wanting breakfast so a little early morning SSH recap whilst drinking tea at the kitchen table before the rest of the house wakes up. 😊. What a lovely morning .
Sounds great!
You asked at the end what I"m drinking. I'm drinking a Gibraltar Latte. Great videos!
Shawn you're the best. I'm running through your cbtnuggets course for 04 and utilizing these vids. I take the exam next month - keep pumping this videos out!! Haha
Just the beginning of this video in the tunnel is so funny 😅
Keep it up Bro 👍
Hehehe - there is a LOT about tunnels in the linked playlist though, I promise. 😜
i am drinking water... so what is the difference between -X and -Y i tried to go through the man pages and it looks like it has something to do with ForwardX11Trusted but it also says (on one of my debian machines) that something changes. i have different combinations of machines (some linux some osx) and some combinations require -X some -Y. in general i get fed up and do "ssh -X -Y ..."
Please make a tutorial on how to use udev !!! 🙏🙏🙏
I'll add it to the list, but it can be confusing, including for me! (I usually have to go down several google holes before I figure out what I'm trying to accomplish, lol)
