Great review! I'm in a similar boat as you concerning the reprints. A lot of great abilities got reprinted and I fear they'll overshadow the other newer abilities that are also great. Aside from the globals it's not even that many, but they were just that good back in the day. It's certainly going to reinvigorate the competitive meta game, but I almost wish some of the reprints were more spread out. *shrug*
Great job Chris, looks very professional, and nice to have a full review including thematic stuff and wider principals, beyond the card by card breakdown we did on the DM:United podcast. I particularly love he layout you have for this video, with images on the right - excellent, also the X-Men on top of the Kallax is very cool: need to get some of the X-Men United chibi minis up there as well!
Thanks man. The plan is most definitely to get some Marvel United minis up there. Working on cajoling a more talent painter than I to brush them up a bit 😉
Excellent review, makes me excited to get my draft display. I agree with the artwork being AMAZING. I personally didn't enjoy the infinity gauntlet set that much when they used "realistic" art even if it's detailed. I do agree with you on the old reprints with amazing effects but I rather have them there so others who are recently into the game can access them without hunting all across the internet.

@@TheMinistryofDice I hear ya...nothing like customization. Are these drafts like Cube Drafts, where u can easily put the contents back & redraft them? ( I doubt it)
Here’s the draft rules from Wizkid’s: wizkids.com/dicemasters/rainbow-draft/ The main difference now is that every player starts with a draft pack box instead of the 12 booster packs. I’m not so familiar with Cube Drafts, but I believe anecdotally there’s some key differences. Hopefully you can get the vibe from the guidance?
@@foyoGames These are meant for more normal drafting purposes. Once you open enough for your collections you could easily just put together a cube to draft from for yourself and friends. Cubes in any game are custom. You put in whatever you see fit. If you want to keep it more themed then you put in specific sets or parts of sets. There's certainly any number of ways to make it work.
