The AI in this is insane. It has such amazing attention to detail and timing on movement and patrolling. Also trapping and gassing certain locations.
This is why hotwiring a car is a practical skill to have so you don't need to deal with a missing boyfriend.
Not getting kidnapped is probably a much more pratical skill.

This is super scary. I actually love when he's hiding under beds so long, it adds tension.
Brightness warning: If youre like me and keep your brightness abysmally low, you may wanna consider turning it up to around 5-15 (depending on your screen). The game is very dark, and the crusty textures make low-brightness hard to see what's going on, *DOUBLY* so if youre also a low-res boi. Just be careful not to set it too high, at around 1:09:00 Tomato starts fucking with the gamma and the game's pause menu becomes *SIGNIFICANTLY* brighter - it actually makes it really fucking jarring for your eyes, so dont be afraid to watch with sunglasses on.
