Cheers for the vid, just did mine this afternoon. Was concerned that I may need to support the engine somehow while changing the mount so put it off until now. Subscribed!
Wow. Wish I wasn't such an idiot. Should have looked up where pitch stop mount was located. I JUST did TGV and EGR delete. Had a Perrin pitch stop on hand. Didn't install. Till today....as I look at this video in tears.
Cool. Thanks for the video
Yes thanks for the video appreciate the attention to detail. I've ordered many parts from you guys. Good service, great site.
LOL getting my intercooler back on the car today was a nightmare. Figured out a workaround way, but I need to make that shit easier asap.
What were the torque settings for the pitch stop's hardware? Thanks for the video.
Will a pitch stop mount on its own cause alot of noise? Nvh?
Robert Multari Iv fitted one, not sure if Iv bent a rod or sound is just more direct as it's transferred from block to firewall via the aluminium pitch stop mount.
Noise between 2-3000rpm no boost
Love the videos, you guys are super informative. My question is, what are the benefits of removing your engine cover from day one? Would it be beneficial for a stock engine?
Well for us, it's beneficial because we have easier access to the engine and don't have to take it on and off every time.
Do they make anything for the 2015 forester xt.
It's the same item
Is it safe to install this without replacing stock motor and trans mounts?
wondering the same thing
What are the torques for tightening the pitch stop bolts and the intercooler bolts?
11.7 ft lbs for the intercooler 12mm bolts on the bracket. The other two get tightened until the rubber bushings just start to squish down.
Thank you!
Hows the vibrations at idle??
do they have anything for the 05 Legacy GT?
This pitch stop mount, will it vibrate the car more like a poly bushing aluminum engine mount would or what do you notice after install? is the cabin noise louder is there any vibration problems? things like that.
Hey guys. I saw/read somewhere that after installing an STi pitch stop mount on their WRX, they heard a bit more road noise. Any validity to that?
I have a Torqe Solutions one and there is a bit more noise. The improvement over stock is totally worth it though
Did u use a 1/2 torque wrench??
Why do u guys have a 2015 mustang and the new m4!
Would the pitch stop mount you guys sale on your website work with a 05 subaru wrx?
Any need to add some white lithium grease to the bushings?
I did - just applied a thin film of grease on each side of the two bushings
14mm rench, 14mm - 12 mm socket, ratchet with extension, flathead ignore this comment
when are u guys going to show how to switch the trunk out for the wing?
Why don't you guys use the ETS or Mishimoto intake from your website? I'm not going to buy anything you guys wouldn't use yourselves
Right now we have not installed an intake as they are so popular they are selling out so instead of using one on our car we are trying to keep everyone else rolling with intakes shipping out the door. As soon as they become more available we will install one. :)
How did you take the plastic engine cover off?
Pull it off.
Did you really ask that???
I don't understand how it's going to give you more response from the engine...if by response you mean when the engine moves or vibrate it also move the whole chassis? I think this mod is one of the worse mod ever...one you can't even see it, you can't even hear it, your car doesn't go faster...just makes your car more uncomfortable...unless you're using ur car is a track car, this is stupid.
The less an engine moves around the better.
