Hey Seth , do you make more videos about the SE Fat Ripper? Cause in your video about it you said that we will see many videos of it , but as far as i know you didnt made a second video to it , sorry for my bad english by the way , im from Germany ;))
For all of you asking what video editor I use, it's Final Cut Pro. It has tons of bugs that Apple never fixes, and it crashes constantly. For those reasons I can't recommend it, however I haven't found anything that's faster for editing UA-cam videos. Truth be told, you can just use GoPro's software for most video editing tasks. It's free and works on any operating system.
Final Cut used to be a beast, but the adobe creative cloud is a damn good option for Mac and PC. it's pretty dang cheap, and even cheaper with EDU discount.
KiGrind 7 You're totally right that if you're just starting out, or don't get too complicated with edits, there are some really good free options out there. If you need something more than that, then the Adobe software may be a good option. You can pay $300 up front for Final Cut Pro, or pay $20/mo (240/yr) for Adobe Premiere. If you're a student with an EDU email you can get the full suite for $20/mo, that's a crazy good deal! The best part is if after a couple months you hate it and want to move to another app you're only out a small amount, vs buying a full license and being stuck with that. Once again, not saying someone just starting out should get it, but when you hit that point where you need something with really beefy features then Adobe has some pretty good options.
I have been using Filmora to edit my vacation videos. I can't say it is the fastest thing in the world but it works great. It is also a one time payment for a lifetime license.
Just to add onto this discussion, I am a film student and use Premiere Pro with a student subscription so it isn't so expensive. I've used Davinci and FCPX and found that they are not as ergonomic and flexible as premiere is.
Or if you're on a motorcycle and have the engine running (I say motorcycle as they are generally louder than a car) then just beep the horn, this is a handy trick if you don't want to stop, just turn your GoPros on while on the move and beep the horn.
Hey Seth. Your videos have come such a long way from back when you started. The quality of these videos are amazing and your editing skills are impeccable. Your videos stand out in comparison to so many other UA-cam channels not just biking ones. I love your channel and keep up the good work.
Handy tips! Didn't think to film in 4:3. Here's another: Use carbon grip paste on the adjustable joints for your mounts to make them extra rigid. Then use the screwdriver to really clamp it down.
@@randomdude1177 well to answer your question . pepper shaker was joking but seth was talking about the wind how it makes the fur puff out unless the joke flew over my head lol
I am so not up to date since I had a 20 year hiatus from outdoor sports and technology. I appreciate videos like this one, because they are simplified and easy for a knuckle dragger like me to follow. Kudos to you, once again.
Use ca. 3 Hockey mouth Guards and put them in Boiling water, put one around some of these gopro mounts, and the second as well, put the last one around and bite on it... now you have a mouth mount perfect for your teeth
IM a real newb at this stuff, and this vid has given me so much more than the hours of other stuff ive watched - so greatfull - thank you, thank you❤👍👍👍
You have great videos!! I LOVE HOW U TALK WHILE U RIDE! I would really like a shoutout if possible PLEASE(; Keep up the work!! It should be fair to just give u 4 mill subs because u inspire me so much that u should have many subs to come u are awesome KEEP up the good work
Went to replace my gear cable only to find that my wire cutters were as good as two bread knifes. So tried a dremel. This resulted in a bunch of the fine wires coming unwound and going all over the place. Used your cable re winding hack (in a previous hack vid) and got a cable that looked new. Can't believe how well it worked
Seth i have the same camera as you and i didn't even know it. I also got a very rare bike made by triumph and there were only 500 made. this is my first bike and i love it. Thanks for making all of these informational videos, they actually help. Keep it up
Seth u used not to care about money. I was a huge fan of yours and now u are just another youtube channel.U used to be like mine, loving the bikes and dont giving a fack about full suspension ones. Now you ride a full suspension and before every single video there are commercials. I just miss your trek
Those sticky pads work great! It was pouring down rain when I stuck one onto my whitewater rafting helmet. After crashing along some rocks and a some 3 hours later my GoPro was still standing. 🤙
That VHB stick pad is super reliable as long as it is mounted to clean surfaces, no cooking required. Just clean the surfaces with denatured alcohol first. If it can hold solar panels to the tops of RV's in high winds it will work fine holding a camera.
Seth ur acc an awesome guy you have helped me out soooo much I can't thank you enough these hacks I tryed my own way an I struggled so bad but you make it so easy thanks again.
I'm still going to call it a veelogger
There will be more! I prefer to keep live streams "live" and not post them, however Patrons do get the option of replaying.
Make some around noon if you want Europe to watch as well.

We are big fans of FCP as it's easy to learn and there isn't a subscription fee every month!
Just to add onto this discussion, I am a film student and use Premiere Pro with a student subscription so it isn't so expensive. I've used Davinci and FCPX and found that they are not as ergonomic and flexible as premiere is.
I didn't know the clap technique! Makes so much sense. I've struggled getting my footage lined up. Thanks for that!
yeah that was clever. Sometimes it's just one thing that you pickup that can make all the difference in understanding something. Great video
B1KER it is also why they use that black and white shutter things in hollywood movies
@@tomsdad5172 i could never figure out why would that be xD

Tanner Hickman thanks dude!
And now look at his editing holy balls
Hahaha, love that Hasidic beard!
BKXC was that Single Track Sampler? Good business idea, he could trim and sell little microphone beards for $20 a piece! c",)
BKXC what the nugget count now?
Antjan46 And I'd be dumb enough to buy one!
Hmmm, good business!!!
Hahahah that's classic Antjan

Globetrottn' Geek that's a great tip!
Thanks! It took many ruined shots and a few beers in the workshop to come up with that idea.
This sounds much better than my "cut out thin rubberband pieces and try whole 15min to insert them into the joints", thanks for the suggestion!
5:28 Woah I Didnt Know This Vid Was Featuring The Singletrack Sampler
5:05 sounds like joining a xbox live party 😂

Severed 123 In which case it's awesome to go biking year round! Just spent a week off work bombing it around the trails down under :)
Dude, sounds like a dream did you record it, if so when will they be up?
what do you mean bro, the southern hemisphere has the best mountain biking tracks and experience in the world
Texas is hot. There is no such thing as snow. In the summer it gets to 36 to 38 degrees everyday in summer by about 4pm. Celcius

Haven't used my Gopro for a while... took it out to clean it and surprised to see a 3 ft beard growth in it 😂
How the hell does the beard actually grow
Tobey Gamer it’s a joke

I'm not even a mountain biker and I'm subbed to this guy because his videos are so freakin cool. Thanks for the Awesomeness Seth 👍🏽🚴🏽
NoProGoPronto right me too.

the clap method is genious. tried some visuals before, but using sound for that is a great idea. Thanks!
Hey Seth, that GoPro Session in the mouth hack would be waaaaaay more smooth if you could 3D print out a bite-guard mount for it.
Eggselant Idea!
bergauk i heard in a bodcast of xo8booth (this cliffjumper dude) that he uses one of those swim sponges from gopro to chew on
Use ca. 3 Hockey mouth Guards and put them in Boiling water, put one around some of these gopro mounts, and the second as well, put the last one around and bite on it... now you have a mouth mount perfect for your teeth
go pro makes a great bite mouth that I use for Bodyboarding videos. will work great for riding. they're about 20 bucks or so.
Dude, between the beard and Drama's website. you just flipped my day around man, you've brought my mood back from the dead. Love you guys
4:00 onwards.... Man I laughed so hard. That's one of the main reasons I am a total fan of this channel! XD
to tighten the screw on the side i use the little tool that GoPro sells its like a spanner for the thumbscrew and i find its really useful!
2:12 "Yeah how cool is that? I will do it for sure!" "Oh wait... I only have one Gopro..."
Been using gopros for years and had no idea about the 4:3 setting being all of the censor. Thanks dude!
Emergency:what heppened?
Me:my gopro felt in my stomech.
I dare say this is the most informative UA-cam video I've seen all year.
I don't know why every one hates the hero 5 session I have it and I love it
MTB Sam I would have gotten one instead of my hero 5 black but you can't change the batterie which I need to do for snowboarding or longer mtb rides
Be glad man, be glad!
Casey Drach yeah that's the only thing I don't like so if your battery starts acting weird or dies fast from alot of usage then you can replace it
MTB Sam i have the hero 4 session and it is great
i love my 5 session and dont regret getting it at all
I got a hotshoe adapter when I bought a clamp but had no idea what it was now I know thanks to you. Keep up the good work

The shaving was my fav! Thanx for the video, and the levity! 😎
