This remix is excellent! This one really sticks with me! It sounds epic and soothing at the same time. And nice use of the announcer's voice for the "Round 1; FIGHT!" and "Round 2; FIGHT!" That made this remix all the more genuine.

The SFII soundtrack is made up of such strong compositions, I think they could all translate wonderfully to modern-classical piano arrangements. It's just a matter of finding the time to do such a project... 😔

man yoko shimomura use samples from Balrog's theme to make vector to the heavens (xion theme) i know this a remix if you put Street Fighter II soundfont with vector to the heavens maybe can hear Balrog's theme they are same compose
Sorry I don't fully understand your comment, but I will try to answer it.
I called this a "remix" when it's actually more like a cover-version. I didn't use actual sounds from Balrog's original Street Fighter 2 theme. Maybe I should have named it differently.
I took the chords, melodies and counter-melodies, and remade the piece of music in my own way. 👍🏼
What about a street fighter mini series on Netflix or something like that
