    Awesome video! You covered the essential points for fresh high school graduates interested in pursuing sonography. IMHO, the best piece of advice was getting the program director or chair to know your name. This is invaluable. This step will set you apart from other applicants...who do not take this initiative. If you show this level of interest in the program, those in charge will show an interest in you. Thank you for this video!

    Hi I’m finishing up prerequisites and struggling with physics and applying in the summer. I was wondering if you use physics in depth in the program just so I know what to expect.

    • @lolgeselle
      @lolgeselle  2 роки тому +2

      Hi! Congrats on finishing up prereqs. Physics is an integral part of sonography however ultrasound physics is way different that regular physics. You just gotta get through the prereqs and sonography ultrasound physics will be better understood with time, practice, and scanning.

    Hey i’m currently in my last year of hs , do you recommend a associate degree or bachelors degree ? and do you think one pays more than the other , or you get more job opportunity one more than the other ?

    • @lolgeselle
      @lolgeselle  10 місяців тому +2

      associates vs bachelors -- pay is the same, the bachelors just gets you the ability to be able to move up like become supervisor, director, or do other types of jobs.. its more for movement in the career. hope this helps.

    What does it mean to allow you to sit for the board exams? Thank you! Starting to look into this career. Graduated high school almost 4 years ago & I’m ready to do something for my career path!

      Thanks for listening!! It means you need to be able to meet the pre-requisites to take a registry exam. The most popular one is ARDMS in the United States. I hope you do more research! :)
