    byAcre makes the best Rollators on earth. I prefer their Carbon Fiber varieties, the Ultra Light and the Overland editions. I purchased the Ultra Light for my mother last Christmas and she's been absolutely thrilled with it's performance and the fact that she's constantly receiving compliments concerning how cool and sporty it looks. I've gotten her the Carbon Overland for this year's gift. It arrived completely assembled and in perfect working order. The Bentley Brown color is just stellar and it functions like a dream. I tested it out on some considerably rough and uneven surfaces, and it really adds a significant confidence boost to the idea of navigating more challenging terrains. That's precisely what I was hoping for and am now entirely confident she'll be joyfully satisfied once again. byAcre products come with a premium price that's in keeping with their premium design quality and materials. All that combined with outstanding craftsmanship and sterling customer support forces me to consider their brand well worth the investment cost, and I can see no more worthy challenger to the truly standout nature of their Rollators.

    Got mine the very first week it came out & couldn’t be anymore happier - so easy to maneuver smoothly around home & sturdy since the gait is my biggest weakness. Breaks acts quickly & easy to use, no need to have a strong grip.

    Part 1: Never heard of this brand. How come? I checked out a lot of rollators from many brands several years ago when I was shopping for one. Since then, I've continued to keep up with what's on the market, including some more unusual models, and this brand never showed up on my radar. I also check out rollator accessories, repairs, etc., and even ordered replacement handgrips a couple of months ago after one developed a tear. My mother had a rollator for several years until she died 21 years ago. Now I need one, and I'm a big fan of them. They are so helpful! What's not to like? They help in getting around, provide support while standing, provide a seat anywhere, have a backrest for comfort and safety, have a helpful cargo basket or bag, and both parking and intermittent brakes, just like a car. Yes, I do get carried away sometimes when I like something. 😂

    I notice that the brake cables are exposed as opposed to the Carbon Ultralight and Carbon Overland.

      Great question - I would recommend reaching out to byACRE to ask their thoughts regarding ice. In honesty, I have not taken this rollator out onto an icy sidewalk or pavement. But, this is definitely a review point I will consider for the future!

    What color is this rollator? It looks white, however I don’t see a white one online. I only see it in green and black.

      The lighting in the video does make it look lighter, almost white, in the video. But, in reality it is almost like a seafoam grean & black.

    Hi. Living with MS and trying very hard to keep walking. My rollator is heavy to lift into the car and not as aligned as it was years ago. The Acre looks light and easier to pick up...does this mean it's not as sturdy or steady? I depend on my rotator to carry my laptop and a book...is this one steady enough for that? or will it topple over?

    • @DoctorGretchenHawley
      @DoctorGretchenHawley  6 місяців тому

      I find them to be stable, and sturdy! This one in particular has a slightly wider base which can aid in more stability as well.

    Part 2: I've finished watching the video. First off it's a Euro style folding rollator (left-right). American syle folding rollators fold front-back. Almost all Euro style walkers have thin seats supported by a hard frame that would hurt my thighs. This might not bother everyone, but it's a no-sale for me. I also noticed the absence of what I consider to be a necessary safety feature. It has no backrest. The back bar style is best,but even the flimsy fabric ones that almost all Euro style rollators have would at least give you some warning if you were starting to lean too far back. The material that this rollator is made of isn't as durable as steel or even aluminum. Granted, it weighs less, but I'd rather that it be sturdy and durable. I noticed that the seat appears to be a little bit high for you. I also noticed that you left out the floor to seat height and the weight limit on this model. I literally burst out laughing when you mentioned the affordable price of over $400.🤣 Affordable!? Seriously!?🤣 There are some decent rollators available brand new for under $100. If you want or need a few extra features, you can usually find what you want under $160, and a few other nich models for under $260. Unfortunately, I needed a nich model, so I had to pay $250 for mine. Several years ago, when I bought mine the Nova Mini Mack was the only model that I could find that was designed for people who are both short and wide. Novajoy has discontinued this model, but parts are still available, and they replaced it with the Star 8 HD Petite model, which has a few new features. If and when I need to replace my Mini Mack, I will probably buy the Star 8 HD Petite, unless I keep losing weight. There are more models available for short people who aren't very overweight. I still have a long way to go, but I've lost about 70 pounds. Anyway, if you aren't short and wide, don't mind the flimsy seat with the hard frame, don't mind the danger of having no back support when sitting, and don't mind overpaying for a rollator, than maybe this model is for you.🤣 Sorry, but I can't help laughing. The price is just that ridiculous.

      A product's cost is merely one measure of it's value. If you value quality, craftsmanship, and a host of design features unavailable at any other cost, byAcre stands unrivaled. Period. Belly aching about price informs no one of value. It's a review topic that's more often irritating than helpful, and practically never of a particularly beneficial variety. But by all means, base your every judgement on nothing else, shy of the disinformation you've supplied, concerning the nature and quality of construction materials, customization options and additional functionality upgrades, available to aid in ensuring the utmost of customer satisfaction, to additionally distort the reality of a truly remarkable line up of products. A shameful effort to tarnish the reputation of what I've so far found to be an unblemished company. The lies it contains serving no purpose other than the dishonest manipulation of people's opinions using exaggerations and distortions devoid of fact and truth. Quite shameful indeed.
