I finally bought the Acre rollator (carbon ultralight) as I found the one NHS provided was bulky and too heavy to manoeuvre plus it made my wrists hurt. Cant wait until it arrives AND a bonus its rose pink in colour... walking independently with confidence I havent done for quite a while. Thanks for the review on this walking aid 😊 you inspire a lot of positivity re MS 💕
Thank you very much for the information. I do not have MS but I do have a rare autoimmune disease which lead me to use a rollator. Also, as someone else posted, how do you determine what height of the handle of the rollator should be. Thanks.
I don’t need one yet but I’ve researched some in preparation. Do you have any that you recommend that your patients use? So many on Amazon and I don’t know which may be good.
I dunno, so far I've stuck to the standard model walker, subsidized at Yad Sarah, around 160 NIS. Safe enough, height adjustable, basket in the middle. They have nice 3 wheeled rolators, basket or seat, for not much more. Have a standard wheelchair that I bought for 400 NIS in 2018. Hate to get exotic.
What you didn’t mention is cup holder , I got rollator with seat and I installed 2 cup holders and it’s only 19lbs basket is also pretty important. Benn walking and living with it on my own for 13 years .
Additions such as cup holders, or even a basket, are more personal preference. For some those are non negotiable, but for others it's not what they're needing so this video covers the basics ☺️
Unfortunately that is a difficult question to ask without an in-person evaluation. It truly comes down to whichever will allow her to feel the most comfortable and safe when walking.

For what it's worth, one of my biggest reasons for using one is that my stamina is limited and unpredictable, and I need frequent sitting breaks. My home health OT ordered one for me and I resisted using it at first, but now that I have a byacre, I love it and use it all the time.

My mom has arthritis in one of her hands. Would you recommend a rollator with a single, long handle?
Unfortunately that is a difficult question to ask without an in-person evaluation. It truly comes down to whichever will allow her to feel the most comfortable and safe when walking.

Do you know of any rollators for tall people? I am bent over and neck hurts with most rollators.
I would recommend reaching out to the company that you are interested to discuss height measurements. At this time, I don't know of any to suggest.
What about a back rest?
