Totally agree. He's wrote many of those songs with Robert and brings that style that IS the Cure. He, sorry she makes them better.
Definitely a key Cure member: Smith, Gallup, Thompson, O’Donnell & Williams - this is the Cure lineup for me.

Perso je n'avais pas aimé ce concert, je m'étais même barré avant la fin, et en le revoyant, bah je me dis que j'ai eu bien raison... ça sonne comme une démo, le son de guitare de Thompson est à coté de la plaque et sans synthé ça ne fonctionne pas. Certes ils jouent carré, d'ailleurs ils enchainent les morceaux comme un marathon un peu robotique, mais ce dispositif sonore n'est pas loin du foutage de gueule. Ils font croire qu'ils ont optés pour un son plus rock mais ils ont surtout eu la flemme de trouver un claviériste remplaçant, voilà la réalité.
Exactement la même sensation et j'ai mis beaucoup de temps avant de retourner les voir en concert. Ajoutons aussi que le son à Bercy est pourri, cette salle ne devrait pas être utilisée pour les concerts.
