    I'm extremely lucky when people spend the time to watch my videos as I really appreciate all of those who watched this video; because it has always impressed me greatly, the talent at the linebacker position during the Bill Cowher years. I really wanted to explain that in a video. Let me know what you think about all of these linebackers. Don't forget to subscribe and give this video a thumbs up. Thank you once again.

    Great Video! I remember the year with Lloyd, Greene, Brown, Kirkland. They went to the Suoerbowl and the Cowboys jumped on them in the first quarter. But from the 2nd Quarter until the end of game the Steelers defense completely shutdown Smith, Aikman, and Irvin. The Steelers seized control of that game except Neil Freaking O’Donell decided to gift the Cowboys 14 points off of 2 of the worst interceptions in SB history. If he eliminates just one of those INT’s the Steelers end the Cowboys Dynasty.
    I’ve always said that if the Steelers of the 90’s had Big Ben in his Prime they would have been the team of the decade. But Alas that was not the case and QB play prevented those amazing teams from reaching the Ultimate goal.
    Still fun to reminisce. I was a high school teen in those awesome years of Lloyd and Greene!

    So many good linebackers and defenses in general

      Bigger Pasty. What's happening. It's crazy, the Steelers history from the Noll years to present day with the defensive talent they've had. It's like Wisconsin and the Offensive Lineman they have produced. Bigger Pasty, a name change? Hope your fantasy football team is doing well.

      Thank you so much. I really appreciate that you liked the video. The Noll years are before my time. I'm very sorry, but I prefer to do videos with sports items that I experienced but I really appreciate the recommendation. Those Noll LBs were tough. Thanks again and enjoy the rest of the season.

      @@90sSportsNostalgia Jack Lambert was my freaking idol growing up, even though I was born in 91. if you're from Pittsburgh, it's hard not to hear how amazing those teams were from those who experienced it. glory days indeed

    RIP Kevin Greene 🙏.also Joey Porter has a son who also plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers

    • @90sSportsNostalgia

      Kevin Greene seemed like an incredible person. Yes, Joey Porter Jr. became a Steeler because of that Chase Claypool trade. Joey Porter was so tough and brash back in the day. I was a Kendrell Bell fan, but Porter was a tremendous player and obviously a more impactful player than Bell. Thanks as always. I'm getting ready for that Cubs in the 90s video for this spring. Thanks again.

    BTW since my 49ers are struggling to pressure QBs right now I couldn't help think of that clip of Bill Cower in Greg Lloyd's face telling him to "RUSH THE QUARTERBACK!!!" the other day. Hopefully Chase Young helps.

    I would say Greg LLOYD and Kevin Greene and i will add Strong Safety Rod Woodson 1987-1996-1997 10 years as Pittsburgh Steelers, one season with San Francisco 49ers 1997-1998, Baltimore Ravens 1998-2001 , Oakland Raiders 2002-2004, Rod Woodson NFL Of Hall Fame, the list of Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFL Hall Of Fame, 1995-1996 should had won that year super bowl, not having elite Quarterback cost the Steelers 30.

    AARRON SMITH!

    • @90sSportsNostalgia
      @90sSportsNostalgia  5 місяців тому

      Great name to mention. He was really good for PIT. Would you consider him a LB? I thought of him on the D-LINE in that 3-4 defense. But Aaron Smith was tough for the Cowher Steelers. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching the video.
