New Shock Absorber from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/KYSH...
Shock absorbers help your vehicle stay stable and safe. Signs of worn out shocks are knocking or bumping noises, loose handling, or a bouncy or bumpy ride. The typical service life of a shock absorber is 50,000 miles, depending on conditions. TRQ shocks and struts are engineered to fit your vehicle perfectly. This video shows you how to install shock absorbers on your 1998-2008 Ford Super Duty F-250.

Love how these videos make stuff looks so easy and quick when really it’s borderline impossible and takes 8 days.

Note. The front shocks in this video are for a 4x4. Different shocks and installation on a 4x2.

Did anyone else hear the cartoon thump sound when he pried the shock off?😂

Although that front looks like a 2005 those shocks look nothing like mine nor the way they go on. I have a diesel 4 wheel drive Eddie Bauer edition. The top wiggles significantly causing a lot of noise. There is only one way to lift it. Put a jack device in the small square crevice area that is along the axle about a foot or less from the wheel, it just barely fits flat inside and can't go any further toward the inside along the axle. It somewhat shows it on the tire change instruction diagram they provide with the spare tire.

Is it possible to do this w/o removing the wheel but simply supporting the front axle? I noticed with the right tools you can essentially do this without removing the wheel.

What if your truck has a lift kit and all you have is a floor jack that wont reach, any suggestions?

How do you tell how much lift you have on a stock 2003 F250 4x4? When I tried to order shocks a while back they wanted to know the lift.

Don't have a lift and pneumatic impact. Jacks, stands, wrenches and socket set. Gotta wait for warmer weather.

BEWARE! My Ford has locking tabs on the nuts which require the bolt to be turned for removal. Please be sure you have your air gun on the correct hardware.
