As a Melbourne local I'm glad you're enjoying your time in Australia so far. Its a big thing to travel to new country on the other side of the world on your own without knowing anyone there. Doing this trip will be a real confidence boost and a great experience. I look forward to seeing more of your travels.
Melbourne looks like a lovely place. So happy for you, Paige. You are living the dream.
Have a great time and thanks for sharing your journey with us. Stay safe.❤
The US is so large that many flights have layovers! I have spent so much time waiting in airports lol. Have a great trip! ❤
Thanks for the hard work Paige, it always adds to my day when I find the time to watch. I hope you’re doing very well everyday, and you’re connecting the moments, from the things that makes you smile to the things that challenge you to grow, and appreciate everyday as a meaningful adventure. Sending lots of love
Btw I have a playlist with cool videos I promise give it a chance
amazing and dreamy to watch this and feel that it is an unbelievable experience for you. please be safe whilst sharing your alone travels online xx
Safe journey Paige really proud of you! ❤ x
Solo travel is so broadening! I look back on my high travel days with such fondness. You'll be so glad you did this when you're twice your age. :-) Have fun and take care!
Paige, it was so much fun watching your video enjoying the beautiful summery weather in Melbourne, Australia especially when I am stuck in Ottawa, Canada in the cold weather with full of snow and ice and wearing winter clothes.
It’s wild seeing you in Australia! As a Queenslander happy to offer any tips for when you travel here 😊 Hope you’re having a fabulous time. After years of hard work it’s great you’re taking some time to travel!
This felt so nostalgic having been Syd & Melb last May and absolutely loving every moment. Fun fact, trams are free in the central square of Melbourne!
Was just Down Under a few weeks ago, so exited to follow along on your travels, Paige! ☺️🫶🏽 Love from Switzerland🇨🇭
Well done - you are smart to stay hydrated. Safe travels - Thank you for the update.
So happy you're having a relaxed time. Stay safe!!! Thank you for vlogging! 🤩
I hope your videos on this solo travelling are not live aftet basically sharing your itinerary. So at the time of this posting, you should be long gone and probably already be back home. Still do the daily recordings but store them. Dont overshare online. Please be careful
Good point, opportunistic bottom fondlers everywhere.
The tennis finished a week ago, this will be a couple of weeks old.
Very sensible advice NOT to be ‘live’ and overshare online.
Safety is number 1 priority!
Watching your videos out of order. It's so nice to see you look so happy about your Australian adventure.
Would highly recommend wearing a light over-shirt which covers your shoulders while walking in direct sun in the middle of the day! I always avoid wearing singlets in NZ/Aus in summer because even if you lather up with sunscreen it’s so easy to miss spots around your shoulders/neck/decolletage and the blistering sun here has no mercy 🙃
wish u a safe journey! have fun!
Nice travel vlog Paigey, enjoy ur vacations!!👍❤️
I’m so happy you’re already enjoying beautiful Australia! I’m sure you love the summery weather! And btw, it’s amazing to me (I know it was like hundreds of years ago😅) that you’ve got curtains on your bunk bed at the hostel. When I was on Erasmus, I was at a hostel with lots of people and no curtains, not great bathroom situations, not intimacy, no nothing😂I’m glad that’s changed, at least there!
Anyways, keep on having lots of fun, be safe and enjoy tennis!🩷
So proud of you for vlogging in public you have come a long way🎉
In awe of you 😊. Wish I'd travelled when I was younger. Have a fantastic time.
It's so great to see someone flying economy like a normal person!!!
Honestly the flight wasn’t as bad as I always thought it would be!
I wish I had the opportunity to have traveled when I was your age. To see things through young eyes. I have also watched your other Melbourne video. Great that you are enjoying Melbourne. It is a great city but I am biased as I am a local. Most likely a late suggestion. Use your Miki , catch a tram and head to St Kilda beach. It won`t disappoint. I have also been solo in another country that also had limited english. So can to some extent know what you are up against. I do wish you all the best for the rest of trip.
Try to stay cool, it's going to be a brutally hot few days. Just stumbled across your channel and it seems like quite the adventure! Hope you have a lovely trip :)
Have fun!!
I'm inspired to plan a trip backpacking across Europe.
It's great to see you jumping in and having a great time - just the thing to watch on a freezing cold Friday in England. I'm living vicariously through your videos.
🌞 🇦🇺 🌞
so jealous of the warmth !
Make sure the have a Parma when you’re in Australia. Would recommend the Parma at the Oxford Scholar pub in Melbourne. Also have a drink/dinner at Arbory on the river. Cool places to explore in the suburbs is Gertrude St in Fitzroy (lots of cool arty shops, cafes and bars and Sydney Road in Brunswick for good vintage clothes, food and kind of hipster vibes.
Just remembered a very old vlog of yours where you'd said one day you'd love to be in a sunny country like Australia. Things coming full circle! So happy for you :)
Love this! And completely forgot I’d ever mentioned it before haha
Keep making these vedio often so we know you're alive and well....
God bless and protect you!
a380 quantas was filmed by a eurowing's captain ... that could mean lhr to melbourne non-stop ~22hour flight 🤔 or was the airbus for maintaining in europe ? i guess ➡️ no
or was the 450 ton aeroplane fully booked ?
You may have figured it out already but the cars can turn as long as they have a green light too but need to give way to pedestrians who have also have green light.
Watching this made me miss australia. I wasnt goi g to go back this year but i might do. I flew direct to perth for 17 hours with Qantas and after a week flew to adelaide. Unfortunately i had to fly back to the uk from adelaide via perth and the whole journey took 25 hours. You cannotfly direct with qantas from adelaide. The only destinations quantas fly direct is perth and sydney. I hope that will change in the future because it will cut the journet time down. But its interesting to see the reaction from someone who has never been to australia before.
What i would say is that you get a lot of big flies which is common and not nice but it depends what time of year you are there. I was there in september last year
Going to the Anita max win tour?
Have a great holiday Paige, looking forward to rest of your videos. Think you may need to ditch that pink bag for something more practical. In the hostel, be wary of the constant zip sound of bags being closed and open…
Enjoy, from a fellow solo traveler…
How long you staying? Exploring other cities?
I’ll be in Oz for 2 months!
Watch out for bin chickens
Haha I have discovered these now! Huuuuge beaks 😮
😂😂😂 The Nestling is taking wing.
It’s pronounced ‘My Key’. You had it right the first time 😊
The pizza looked delicious.
Melbourne is sick (Best city in the world I reckon)
The back cover of your phone is very nice and very attractive
Can you plz get a mic. We can not hear you. Love from Bulgaria ❤️
Somehow the starting part reminds me about what i used to hear last time about how they used to send prisoners from the UK to AUS.
Luxury in an Ibis 😂 yeah
It’s all relative I guess!
