- Many new IDs than the previous top 20 / compilation. Most of these range from really bad, to not-so "bad", to others that are just, well, overwhemingly and terribly Bad (with capital B).
Also stay tuned in for the best Brazilian local station IDs... might be coming hopefully in the near future.

Fun fact about TV vale do Uruará: their headquarters is the size of a small house. It's in a dirt road and doesnt even have anything to identify It. The only way to know you're there is with Google maps.
I know that lol, and the TV Vale do Uruara sign is removed when the Google Street View car went to Uruara until probably months after.

It confuses me that there are so many stations in specifically Maranhao and Mato Grosso.
Also, I think that a lot of these stations had a good effort for areas of less than 100k people most of the time but that doesn't change the fact that they don't look good
I think it’s because Maranhão is one of the poorest states of Brazil, and Mato Grosso is pretty big in terms of area, and population.
I can answer your question in a perhaps crude but certain way: many of these stations are created with the intention of different contexts, such as policy issues, divergent opinions of journalists, in addition to financial support based on dubious agreements with companies that buy commercial breaks on these stations. I'm in favor of plurality, but when I see that that's why these stations exist, "vinheta" or "ID bumper" is what matters least to me in this case...

We found out that the TV Borborema vinheta is fake. It was made by a fan and the uploader also made fanmade vinhetas of the dead networks of Rede Manchete and Rede Tupi.
At least it's not a "Les Studios Marko" case, where it looked fake and turned out to be real...

I've noticed South American countries tend to be well, not great with a lot of logos and stuff. Argentina in particular was infamous for its terrible Home Video logos that stole assets from other logos and had generally poor work done on them in general. Perhaps its the fact they tend to be poor and thus lack the budget necessary or something. Africa has a similar deal going on after all.
You're not wrong, I bet a lot of these companies just don’t have the budget to make their own music or make good animation. So they leave the least work in the animation and steal things from logos or even sometimes copyrighted music! As someone from Lebanon and grew up almost his entire life in West Africa, I have seen many bootleggery in Lebanon and West Africa as well.
I remember canal 4 Uruguay stealing a globo ID in the 80's, canal 10 had the globo eye in the 90's and currently the cbs eye since 1972, but i've heard somewhere they use it because they bought their first cameras from cbs

One thing that I realized was that FC TV's station ID uses the same jingle that was used in LU87-TV's 2008-2013 station ID from Argentina.
I love how the idents slowly get worse as the video progresses.

They are not owned by the big networks. It's just a kind of partnership contract (in brazilian legislation, technically a person, entity's, or company's can only have up to 10 television stations under their ownership. Hence, the affiliation contracts).
8:21 has the same stock music as the Star Records logo from around 2004 or so. Interesting to know that one of my fondest childhood memories of an intro actually used stock music lol

13:31 Those 3 logos were just symbols, the 3 logos were formerly TV Paranaense, TV Curoados, and TV Imagem do Noroeste.
Edit: That logo was the cheesiest I ever seen, like, they have only one transition which the logo zooms in to the screen which may startle some people a little bit, and an announcer saying something in Portuguese, here is the translated version of the announcer: For the TV Paranaense one, It says "Today after international boxing supercine strategic command." For the TV Coroados one, It says "TV Coroados, Channel 3. Saturday 4 and 6 pm, Brazilian Championship Parana Clube and Sao Paulo" and For the TV Imagem do Noroeste, It says "Image of the Northewest, 30 after your life my direct daughter-in-law 10:45 at night you decide"

you mentioned the TVCA, TBO and TV Cuiabá's IDs, but forgot that here in Cuiabá there are more stations with even worse bumpers that those ones. For example: TV Record Cuiabá (currently TV Vila Real - you can search with that name too), TV Mais and TV Mato Grosso... I haven't even said what they did with TV Pantanal, but there is no video of its bumper on YT...

@@PietroQuinones Foi não, a Miramar tem mania de exibir clipes e produções locais com pitch alterado. E essa trilha não é própia do SBT, é uma trilha branca.
Os caras realmente gostam muito de time warp. Time Warp é usado pra corrigir pequenas variações de timbre em uma parte específica de uma gravação contínua, que fica imperceptível se vc precisa alongar alguma parte de um som em 5 milisegundos ou algo assim sem alterar o pitch da gravação toda. Mas daí usam pra tipo alongar um áudio de 5 segundos pra tocar em 10 segundos, mas querem que certas partes fiquem com um pitch maior, daí vira essa bizarrice.
