- My second tribute to the amazing Deborah Kerr! Today would have been her 88th birthday so Happy Birthday Deborah :)
I've included all the Deborah movies I have plus some other of my favorite Deborah moments, so it's a bit long but I hope you won't mind :)
The songs are from The Holiday soundtrack, "Iris and Jasper" & "Maestro" by Hans Zimmer
And it's Peter Viertel, her husband, talking in the beginning and the end
And a tip, the best site for anything Deborah-ish, www.deborahkerr.es :) - Розваги
I'm watching this, again, for the first time in 2021. It is still one of my all-time faves.
For months, this beautiful tribute was removed from UA-cam, then suddenly today, it pops up again. Go figure. I'm so glad that I have the opportunity to watch it again.
One of my fave music video tributes ever to this lovely graceful charming gentile feminine illuminating Libra Goddess and English Rose of Hollywood. Deborah Kerr’s legacy lives on forever. And thank you for adding her voice, it always warms my heart. ❤️ ♥️ 😍🥰😘🤩🌟✨👑💎⚜️🏆 🎞️ 🎭
AWESOME!!! This is the best tribute of Deborah Kerr!! Fantastic editing!!
That was beautiful. So special. Thank you so much for posting this. She truly was an amazing woman and actress. This is wonderful. Happy Birthday Deborah!
Thank you Mom and Dad for naming me after such a beautiful and talented lady! I can't think of a greater honor! Deborah Kerr, Ohio
She was something special just great...I say thank you that you were with us...Deborah Kerr!
YES! Deborah Kerr was "amazing".
Ya know how you see certain performers on the screen and you can't stop smiling. That's what Miss Kerr did for me...thanks:D
She truly does act with her eyes! And she has beautiful eyes, I can't look away from them!
An exceptional actress and woman!!!!!
She was a fantastic actress. Her performance in 1961's "The Innocents" is one of the greatest ever filmed.
Just fantastic, i adore Deborah.
oh sara well done. you've truly outdone yourself! exquisite, just like deborah was.
I've seen several tributes on UA-cam. This one is definetely the best si far. You made me love Deborah Kerr more than what I used to. Thank you very much. Oscar, from Peru.
even in about 1000 years a video like this will still touch people because what you have created here is a real homage to this unique actrice, it's timeless, classic, sensitive, it's art.
the choice of music and sequences, the rhythm, the editing, everything is perfect.
♥ you and thank you so much.
This is an unbeliveable tribute. So beautiful, so touching. It literally made me tear up.
What more can I add to the comments made here?.... The BEST tribute I have ever seen to the lovely Miss Kerr, my favorite actress. Simply amazing and so loving and heartfelt. I, too, cried. THANK YOU!
SHe was such a great actress- and such a beautiful Woman...
one of the greatest
Sara, I had told u that I was sure ur tribute would be great..but this is even more breathtaking.Really..I am speechless.Just as splendidly gracious as this lady we all love.
It's useless saying u made me cry,is it?Tack tack tack..kramar ;)
This is a truly wonderful, beautiful tribute to her. What a gifted, magnificent woman, and I was so saddened/upset when TCM only chose to air a couple of her movies after she died. Shortly before that, Jane Wyman had passed, and a whole day of programming was devoted to her. I thought that was terrible, they would honor one actress for a whole day but not the other. I know Wyman was married to a president and everything, but still, just still is not the same level of respect shown. Thanks again!
Lovely tribute, I feel like Ive never seen a person so unknowingly humane and kind-hearted, yet charming and enchanting at the same time.
Thank you very much for this. She brings so much love and admiration from everybody who knew her and saw her movies... each performance was as flawless as herself.
The most ethereal, feminine, warm, fragile, tender, beautiful, and intelligent woman to ever walk hollywood. I admire many people, but with deborah I simply adore her and idolize her. great tribute
I did not know Deborah Kerr was in so many movies.
She deffinitly is a very good actress and very beautiful.
You have done a wonderful job on this video Sara, (if I may be so be so bold as to call you by your first name).
Thank you for making this video it was lovely, also full of emotion,, you captured her well.
I teared up a bit! I miss her so much:( She really changed cinema, and she will NEVER be replaced!
AMAZING JOB! I adored this!
Oh my.
I knew there was a reason to put up that website: so people like you would treat me with things like this.
I am sure biased towards anything with Deborah on it, but as a fan in general, I must say I haven't seen a better tribute on any subject.
Brilliant.
Beautiful... She was such a talented, graceful actress. (:
I cried.
Awesome job, again. ;)

I got all farklempt watching this beautiful montage of a beautiful and extraordinary actress. They certainly don't make 'em like her anymore. Thanks for posting this. I can't even begin to imagine the time and work you put into it.
Brillante, y talentosa actriz, linda mujer ,todas sus peliculas fueron hermosas y muy bien dado el Oscar en el año 1994 por su carrera .Gracias por este tributo
I think that im too young to have seen one of her movies, but this really touches me.. I saw some amazing performings here, and im willing to see some of her movies now.. SHe must have been an extraordinary human being
A very beautiful tribute to a very beautiful lady. My favourite actress. You chose wonderful images and the music is superbly matched.
I'm absolutely speechless! This is wonderful, fabulous, terrific, glorious, dazzling, beautiful and this best tribute EVER!
Sara, du overgår deg selv - for en fantastisk tribute!!!
An absolutely wonderful tribute to the ever lovely Scottish lass. Beautiful job!
I cried like a baby at the end!
Sara, du er en knupp =)
Just wanted you to know that August 13 is Deborah Kerr day on the TCM channel. They will be playing her movies ALL day! I was going to take off work to watch them when I realized that everyday could be Deborah Kerr day in my house seeing that I own the majority of her movies. LOL!
It is so weird to see her in some older films. I just get this weird feeling inside. Probably all of her movies ive seen, she has been so young. Wonderful video by the way!
i love all of her movies, but the one i watch over and over is "Separate Tables" because she is amazing in that movie. It was easy for her to be glamorous, but to play the part of Sybil believably was a feat most stars would not want to undertake. Gladys Cooper was also amazing as her mother in that picture. That movie, above all others, showed the depth and range of her acting ability. She was exquisite, even in that dowdy part!
One of the best actresses in the world!
so this is under my subscriptions and i'm thinking, great! a Deborah Kerr tribute. So I'm all pumped to watch this and all of a sudden I start to cry. (my roomate is trying to sleep while I'm trying not to drown in tears of sadness and joy mixed together) This is the second time I've ever cried for a tribute and I can't even remember the first one. To sum it up, this was a beautiful tribute to a beautiful lady ♥ thank you ever so much
Kate--
This was a beautiful tribute to so many of her wonderful pictures. I nearly cried at the end! It was very moving. Another top-notch tribute. :)
omg that ending made me wanna cry! this is beautiful!
Visited her grave 19-3-21 and left her some roses.
She was beautiful and grace. I remember that she is a best actress in my life.
I want meet her in my next life if it possible.
I love her at 2:40 haha her face is soo adorable.
She has a great actress, and such a classy woman.
We Love You Deborah!!
Thanks for the comment on my BELOVED INFIDEL post which is how I discovered your channel. I have always been a huge fan of Deborah Kerr and your beautiful tribute reminds me of so many wonderful performances. Thank you.
Oh thank you very much!
Thank you for this wonderful tribute!!!
@MrsRickyRicardo That clip is from "Marriage on the Rocks" with Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. I watched it a couple of weeks ago and thought it was fun. Miss Kerr looked absolutely stunning and her wardrobe was incredible.
So beautiful...thank you!
Обожаю❤❤❤she is a beautiful🌹
The most elegant, graceful, sexy, and brilliant beauty to ever hit the big screen. There will never be another and that makes me very sad. This is beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing.
@2legit64 It's from "The Grass is Greener" when she is leaving for London to get her hair done (and to meet her secret lover ;)).
Quite a moving tribute. The editing is seamless and I love your choice of music. Well done!
It's so wonderful.
damnit! you made me cry... :)
One word: Amazing. Really lovely video, of an actress that were perfect in anyway. :D Good job :D
You see those 20 views.. yeah that ME in the past 2 days ! Geez I'd thought I'd seen this one but nope so lets just put the song in my head and the images and burst into tears every ten minuets... man You know how to hurt a girl :P
Just Kidding. Still Loving it more and more every time I see it
That is from "Tea and Sympathy" one of my all-time-faves of her films.
@envy16kate Thanks! I figured it out a couple of days before I got your message. I've seen that movie countless times, but didn't put it together because in that clip, she looks so sad and serious. I watched it again last week and saw it. I guess it was kinda sad and serious considering what she was about to do. It's a great film though. Very clever and fun and Miss Deborah, as well as Jean Simmons, looks absolutely beautiful. It looks as if the whole cast was having a blast.
Yes !! I know i'm so exited for it :D :D :D and you are so lucky !! I own a pathetic few :( I'm saving up for other things and to buy online you need a credit card.. yeah parents won't support my addiction even with my money lol so I'm life with tribute vids, Separate tables, An Affair to Remember, Quo Vadis, The King and I.. no more.. :'(
Alright Sara you need to stop this !! I'm always bawling in front of my family :3
This is even better that your first tribute. I literally cannot explain how proud I am of you, of her, and of this video. Your video complied the PERFECTness of music (which by the way I need you to tell me what it is because this is being downloaded) but the radio interviews were GORGEOUS and just.. man she would be so proud of you and honored,
Thats Tea and Sympathy :)
@envy16kate That is from "Marriage on the Rocks" with Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin.
Sensible and strong, elegant and natural
The ideal feminity. Never saw or met a woman who could even approach her style elegance and warmness.
tesoro di attrice e di donna, quintessenza di femminilità e forza
I know !! lol I'm signed up for their newsletters :) I hope i'm not working that day the 13th is Deborah and then the 17th is Katharine Hepburn :) I'm going to pass a blissful week.. and get no sleep hahah
This is the best tribute on amazing Deborah I have seen. It is just perfect. It just blew me away. It just showed me how much I love this woman. She was so remarkable and should be remembered by everyone. She was one the best actresses ever and it is a pity that many people don´t know her.
Once again, I congratulate you on that video. I could have watched it for hours. At times I wanted to cry and others to laugh. Brilliant. Where did you get all those video and audio clips btw?
@saraismyname thank you! and really? i've seen it but have no recollection of this moment. so much for my memory. ;)
really beautiful tribute. just perfect. if you don't mind my asking, what is the film at 2:00?
@saraismyname just re-watched that part thanks to yt! her look in that scene seems so different from the other costumes/general look of the film that i couldn't place it. definitely a senior moment. :D
Well she was into her eighties. but looking gorgeous as ever
I can't stop watching this!!! It is just so beautiful. Please tell me the title of the musical piece. It is just so perfect with your montage.
Lovely video celebrating the beautiful Deborah. Great job!! Also the music is perfect. It happens to be from one of my favorite films, The Holiday. :) Thanks for sharing!!
OMG this is definitely the best Deborah Kerr tribute I've ever seen. It made me cry. :') Thank you for making this.
Someone please tell me what movie is at 2:15! I seen all but her third and her last films, however, I do not remember seeing this particular clip anywhere. It's driving me crazy.
OMG what happened at 1:41 ?!?!?!?!
you know someone is beautiful if they can look like this 2:12 :)
most GORGEOUS transition @ 0:41
2:30 Meryl Streep!! spitting image
6:15 amazing.. truly amazing
was she in another movie with Cary Grant, besides "an affair to remember?"
Not sure if I missed it but there's no scene from Quo Vadis?
It's pretty short but there's a clip from Quo Vadis at 1:04
What's the music called I've heard it before but don't know where?
It's from the soundtrack to The Holiday, "Iris and Jasper" and "Maestro".
Haha it's like that whenever I go on a rampage half way through a modern movie of "OH did you catch that referance here about Audrey Hepburn because she was marriaed to so and so who dated so and so who wrote this and then was made into a movie directed by so and so who married so and so who was this person sister!" oh man... the looks I get o.O
or the friend who says "Are you like 70 or neurotic? lol
What movie is 5:13 from? where shes dancing in the yellow dress?
I believe it’s from “Marriage On The Rocks” with Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin.
Wow! That was an amazing tribute! (: I loved it! Would someone please mind telling me the movie at 3:57? ^^
@orhugs I wish I'd found you earlier! I recently donated my DK duplicates to my local library! I would have gladly sent them you. Three of them are on youtube in their entirety- Thunder in the East, The Chalk Garden (one of my all time faves), and The Proud and the Profane. Prudence and the Pill was taken down recently.
What is the movie in 1:58 to 2:04 ??
The Journey (1959)
@@saraismyname thank you so much!!♥️♥️
7:05 she is very old
