- With all the unplanned home renovation issues, there is no way we we can move back into the house as planned. We can't extend where we are staying, so we have to find alternative accommodation at a low price, and that unfortunately has its consequences.

Just have to say: Britain is still part of Europe (geographical area) even if they are no longer part of the European Union... Norway is also part of Europe but not part of the EU. 😉

So glad you got sorted with alternative accommodation, that first property was dreadful. We’ve only used Airbnb twice on the same trip to California, both super hosts with excellent reviews and both dire which has put us off using again 😢 Great tip using the lemon on fiery curries 🙏 Thanks for sharing 🤗🤗

There’s a Metro Diner in The Villages FL ,there’s also a apartment block in Playa Vista Los Angeles that has the same common area internal deco as you’re 1st apartment block ,glad you got sorted in the end and stood you’re ground
I saw there were a few Metro Diners around after we visited
I guess air b&bs are like builders you just never know what you are going to get!!! Glad you got sorted we are out in May we just hope you are all sorted by then lol we do hope we get to have at least a drink with you two keep safe Andy and Vonnie

As always another great vlog. Learning about renting AirBnb's from you. Happy that you went to anotherone, the first was disgusting. Saw Maxines' face, it said it all.The second was a great upgrade even though farther away. Keep up the great vlogs.

That was a bit of a day, glad you got somewhere else to rest your weary heads. That first place looked dire to say the least. I never knew you could put lemon on a curry to make it less spicy, great tip
It was a lifespan for us as well using the Lemon
Lemon juice on curry…..who knew. So glad apt#2 was okay, you both looked drained. Hope you got a good night rest. And yes, matchstick houses sums it up pretty well. It is the same here in Northern California.

Last years I stayed at Champions World Resort in Kissimmee but I read online last year the new owners kicked out all of their guests as well as all of the staff overnight! They have been closed for months and it seems they recently have been reopened. Can you please take a look with your investigating camera skills if they are still alive and have done anything about the resort at all… Thanks and keep on posting! Greetz from The Netherlands

It's like the west entrance to Disney at Flamingo Crossngs loads of construction going on, and yeah as you said the smell of timber. Was like that on Osceola Park Way heading to the Loop about 4 years ago. Avalon is across the 192 from Westside Bvd. where our place is. Again lot's of construction. We drive past the Wyndham on our way into Disney Springs through Flamingo Crossings and Western Way for our Earl of Sandwich breakfast. You both must've been well ready for your bed by the time you were done. Bless you.

Bazza! UK is still part of Europe just not the EU 🤪 as for the lemons I believe curry spices have a higher alkaline ph and therefore adding something acidic balances it out. But I think it depends on the base sauce of the curry. 🥵

The only way to eat Indian food is to always mix the rice and the curry together. You should not see the "white" rice...it should be coated with the curry. Try that next time. And when eating with naan bread always scoop the curry into the bread. And then just pop it into the mouth!!

Our worst nightmare happened to us a few years ago ,fortunately we sorted it ourselves and got a refund once we got home
