I absolutely enjoyed this case scenario series. Thank you so much Dr Ryan. Got 16 out of 21 overall (4 videos) and they were a pointer to areas I need to review properly.

Thank you!! More more more!! got 4/5 correct. the tell-show-do question seems a bit unfair because the question never mentioned that it was a first time procedure being done. if it wasn't the first time, defer to another day would be a better option. just my opinion. Thanks as always.

Thank you Dr. Ryan. I got 4 out of 5. The tell-show-do question was kind of confusing, I would go with defer to another day, since autistic kids will need to be comfortable with their surroundings first. But you said that we should try this first before the defer to another day option :D thank you again

Not a bad option, but tell-show-do is a better first choice to rule out if cooperation is out of the picture. If it works, then great! If not, then you can defer.

In the UK, the carpules have a volume of 2.2 ml (and after a long calculation I don’t remember rn) eventually 1 carpule per 10 kg is the ratio. So in the UK the answer to q1 is 2 carpules which is 4.4 ml

Hi Dr. Ryan, at my school, we've always done 4.4mg/kg regardless of whether the carp has epinephrine. For the purposes of the INBDE, should we always calculate it as 4.4mg/kg w/o epi, and 7mg/kg with epi? Thanks for clarifying!

First of all I'm a big fan. Working years with special needs pt, in most of cases a deep or any IV sedation were always a better choice in my dental practices. Tell show do is a very good option I guess in theory. I don't see any relevant reason not to use the sedation. It will decrease time at dental chair, less carpules and less trauma to the patient. Thanks for all your videos!!

Hello. In case of sinus expansion can the other teeths replace the missing one without any risk for their roots?

we use 7 mg/kg for ADULT PATIENTS when we are talking about lidocaine with epi. For kids it's going the same 4.4. Am I right?
