I have a problem with question #6. Does it needs to be reported every case of adverse reactions to the FDA? Even if it is a well known drug that causes allergic reactions in a large part of the population just like penicillin. I would understand if it is in a new released drug, but in penicillin for example.
I’m glad it was great practice for you! I try to make the questions reflect the difficulty of the board exam to give you an accurate representation of what to expect!
Hi Dr Ryan Could you please provide more info or videos about other code of ethics- like integrity, compassion, competency, professionalism. I am an RDH and recently took the dental law and ethics exam and felt the questions were so confusing, any tips on how to prepare. Thanks
I did 8 right. It's so tricky! Lol thank you for the clarification. Please can you answer this question Dr. Ryan: After finishing endodontic treatment for an upper molar, the tooth is heavily restored with amalgam. The dentist suggested full coverage for that tooth to the patient. Which principal is the dentist following: A . Beneficence B. Nonmaleficence C. Veracity D. Justice. I'm confused between A and B. So please help me clarify this
Good day Ihave a question : if the child broghut to the clinic with a school teacher in case of emergency ,parents are not picking the phone ,who is going to sign the consent in this case????
I think in his previous video he stated that in case of emergency and pregnancy and stuff ,the kid below 18 is allowed.I am not sure if the teacher or the child would be the 1st choice?
Once again thank you so much for your videos...my inquiry is about question #1. Imagine same escenario but instead of forgetting or omitting to the patient about the root tip was that was left...lets say you did a Root Canal and you forget to mention that the recommended treatment after is doing a crown...would the answer be the same as #1? the principle violated is veracity? or would it be Autonomy, even though the procedure was already done...thanks in advance!
@@mentaldental hey Dr rayan quick question , shouldn’t the answer for question 14 be beneficence since patient dismissal is under beneficence as you mentioned in the justice video at patient selection segment . Thank you very much for your hard work a whole generation of dentists will forever remember your contributions ❤️
