People are now considering whether a big car is really the answer to deliver the performance they need in their lives. Toyota had all these factors in mind for the iQ in 2008.
I had one of these. 30 mpg, not bad, but my CX-5 is a real vehicle and gets 32 with the 2 liter 6 speed. My wife hit a car in a parking lot, 10 percent her fault, at a very low speed, and it was totaled.
UK owner (I’ve got two !!) … 46 MPG (Imperial UK Gallons) on a run everytime … 36-37-38 MPG blasting round suburbs (I don’t drive them gentle 😙). All modern cars with crumple zones (never mind the NINE Airbags the IQ has) are easily ‘written off’, it’s all part of improvements to passenger safety 👍
