Absolutely love this video, my best friend and soulmate hiked the Milford track 15 years ago this week and your video perfectly captures the awesome natural beauty and majesty of this walk and the silent solo hike lends it a poignant reminder that whilst our lives move on the landscape remains. Maybe I'll hike it again solo myself one day.The best video I have watched on the Milford trek by far. Love NZ the best country in the world!
Wow Jesper, that was fantastic and beautifully filmed. It brought back so many good memories from when I walked the track. Loved the no talking aspect of it too. Cheers from Australia.
The calmness of this video really soothes the soul. Milford is one of my favourite places in the whole world and after watching your amazing video, I want to do this trek too. Great work!
Wow I have to say I love your videos, it always shows the beauty and how peaceful it can be, Thankyou for sharing. I'll be on the track in a few weeks and can not wait now that I've watched this.
Great work getting footage of Sutherland Falls @12:19. It can get a lot of water spraying there and is the highest waterfall in New Zealand. Love the music.
What backpack do you use? It looks around 40L looks lke a great size for backpacking New Zealand. I'm considering backpacking New Zealand soon, but I currently only have a 65L pack, which is a bit bulky overkill for international travel.
@@nuvesv6933 i lived in nz most of my life, living in australia now... photos and video dont do the milford track justice, you have to go see for yourself, it puts you in perspective to your place in this world surrounded by these huge mountains and its natural wonders.....very spiritual i thought. go do it.
Another wonderful video of your adventure Jesper! Incredible shots a beautiful atmosphere and so many fantastic highlights on the trail! Great work man.
Thankyou for making and sharing this wonderful film. I hiked it in 1991 and highly treasure the memory. It looks like the huts have changed, but the natural elements not so much (including snoring humans I gather 🙂). BTW you might appreciate the similarly beautiful work of @AaronRossPhoto (on UA-cam).
Did the track in 1978 with my two younger cousins. NEVER FORGET IT! The international friends we met were not all down to the 3 bottles of whiskey I took in my pack, my pack got lighter as our enjoyment grew.
Kiwi here, loved it. 100% appealed to the introvert in me, with no dialogue.
Thanks, I appreciate it!

The extra work to the Sutherland Falls was very worthwhile. Thanks Tim!
Beautiful. Where do you go if you want to know how many kms per day, what to carry. I know that I'm capable of doing this but I need to go at my pace.
Nice trip and great video!
Thanks!
