Hi, I have found your car phone holder mount with the metal bar on printables and had some questions. For what bar diameter are they made and which material plus printer settings did you use?
The part was designed for a 3/8in diameter pipe. To maximize the circumferential strength, I used the 100% infill, and the number of perimeters required to eliminate the need for infill in the part that mates with the pipe itself.
@@TanmayChhatbar and which filament material? the levers looked quite flexible is it tpu? And layer height etc Other than that thanks a lot I will try to build something similar what you have :)
@@sarcasticfpv Everything was printed out of PETG. The levers clamp onto the pipe as a latch. With the current design, TPU wouldn't be able to clamp hard enough. Good luck printing it!
