It isn't just abt that. Animals are important emotional support but sometimes fixing them is too costly for people to afford. This man is in Morocco but in the US where living is becoming utterly unaffordable for many in the middle class beloved animal companions are being turned over to shelters at record breaking rates. People really can't afford a proceedure if they can't even afford to feed their pet.

I’ve fostered 10 kittens and am currently fostering 8. They’re all in my room w/ me but it’s still better than letting them roam around in 110F heat outside. My dream is to have a little outdoor guest room to house/foster as many as I can ❤
I am currently housing one feral kitten who just turned one and two stray cats that have been on the streets for years. It is not easy and some days the cats love me, other days they want nothing to do with me unless I have food. My goal is to keep going with these kitties and make them my own. I also live where it is 110 outside and it would be miserable for them as two are thick, long haired torbies. Good luck.
