I LOVED the interview. I’m a small town girl living in LA for a bit while I go to school and seeing the interactions you have and just how you guys are as a family, warms a very very tender part of my heart. Thank you!
Thank you for your kind words. Hope you are able to enjoy California while you are there for a bit. We were in California last summer for about 24 hours when we took out southwest vacation. It is definitely different than the small town we are from. We spent some time at the Santa Monica Pier and stayed at the Wigwam Motel in San Bernardino. I'm sure you do miss your small town. TJ, his dad Mike, Bridgett and the entire staff were so amazing and kind to us. So glad that our our videos brighten your day. Appreciate you watching and commenting.
He’s right. the experience and the way the staff treats you makes all the difference !! i worked in a couple restaurants in high school and college and i definitely learned that
Absolutely! If you learned that it will make you more successful in anything you do in life. We have found that so many places don't seem to offer customer service like they use to. Taking pride in what you do and being kind to others means everything. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. Appreciate you watching and commenting.
Wow! This is one of your most positive, upbeat videos yet! The music really set the tone for this video. Excellent choices! The food looked outstanding. I would have a tough time with the menu. Too many choices you don't see often. Like Clam Strips. Back in the 1970's, I almost moved there. Back when Susquehanna Broadcasting owned WSBA-TV, as well as WSBA AM-FM Radio. Really strange TV market in the analog days. Three CBS-TV affiliates served it. WSBA-TV 43 (later WPMT) from York, WLYH-15 from Lebanon, and WHP-21 from Harrisburg. The people up there are indeed amazing. TNX for sharing and God Bless!
Great people own the restaurant who make you feel so welcome. The variety on the menu is incredible too. We do enjoy traveling to this area. Thanks for watching!
Enjoyed the video. You’ve introduced me to another place to visit when in Ephrata. I liked the looks of this restaurant and the food, OMG, especially that slice of cake!! Will definitely visit on our next visit. Thanks for sharing.
Y'all definitely need to check out this diner. It is sooooo good! There are so many choices. The hard thing is deciding what to get. I think both of you will be pleased if you try it out.
Hi my Friends ! Another great review . Your food looked amazing & you know Ren loves cake’s . Thanks for sharing as always . You all do such wonderful and Thorough Reviews 🧡🤍Ren
This was so great! I have never heard of this place but I don’t hang out in Ephrata much. But this place would be a great place to eat at if I did! Thanks for the review - love to see family run businesses 🥰😊👍
The food looked good. The servings looked big. The prices looked very reasonable. And great customer service on top of all that. This place sounds great! Thanks for sharing this restaurant review!
We enjoyed dining at The New Cloister Restaurant. It was a pleasure to meet you TJ and everyone else. Everyone was so kind and friendly. Thanks for posting our video on your Facebook page. Look forward to seeing you again!
We definitely remember you! That is so awesome! We have had some people tell us they are going there next time they are in the area. Hope you are doing well and had a great Christmas. Wishing you a blessed new year in 2024. The New Cloister was one of our favorite places we visited in 2023. We loved everything about it, especially the people. God Bless!
That is a very nice-looking restaurant. The food yall got looked amazing. That club! Yum. The cake too! They have an impressive menu for sure. The counter bar top with the stools reminded me of the diner where Clark Kent got in a fight in Superman ll. Lol
This is an awesome restaurant! The food and desserts are both unbelievable. This is what a diner is supposed to be like. If you ever go to the area make sure to try it out. We loved it!
That club sandwich is definitely what a club sandwich should like like. Everything was fresh on the sandwich too. Carly loved her spaghetti and meatball. Such a great place! We can't wait to go back again!
Food seemed to be great. You guys backed that up with your nice review of Cloister's. Wish I didn't live so far away. Thanks for sharing another wonderful and informative video. 💗💗👍👍
Our pleasure! It was so good! This is the kind of restaurant everyone wishes they had in their town. Delicious food and friendly service. If ever in the area definitely check it out. Thanks for watching and commenting.
We need to put this one on the list. We are headed that way next week so this was good timing. Do y'all have a favorite hotel in the area? Depending on the weather we will be doing a combination of camping and hoteling.
You will love The New Cloister. The food is delicious and the people are so friendly. I noticed how their regulars were treated like family. The desserts are so amazing! We stayed at Home2 by Hilton in Ephrata. We were so pleased with our stay. We had never stayed at a Home2 before and will definitely do it again. Everyone in the hotel was so pleasant. We usually stay where we can get the best deal.
wow, now that intro/menu background music woke me up, lol. the hubby was like “what is going on in there” so i put my earphones in, lol. love you guys! 😊
@@gailsfoodandstuff Sometimes you just have to mix it up! lol I like to pick out different music than our normal. Tell your husband you can' tell him what's going on! That will get him real curious. lol Hope you have a great weekend!
Now THAT'S a club sandwich! It's huuuuge. Quite the variety on their menu and very reasonably priced. Yo! Dis Philly boy (almost) preciates all dem types of cheesesteaks. Nam sayin? Peace out youse guys.
@@vafunseekers Usually I have American cheese on my cheesesteak - sometimes provolone. Lemme tell ya, Cindy... Again, from a guy who grew up a few miles from Philly - Cheez Whiz is NOT a traditional cheese on Philly cheesesteaks. Though alotta places use it. Also, NOT traditional, although many places have it on their cheesesteaks, green bell pepper. When I lived in Texas and now here in Maine, they have a tendency to put on green bell pepper. I don't get it. The 50+ years I lived around Philadelphia I never saw or heard of green bell pepper on a cheesesteak. Now, hot cherry peppers? That's traditional Philly. I love 'em. Unheard of here in Maine. Thank goodness Walmart sells them in a jar. I almost always put them on my homemade cheesesteaks. Take care. God bless. P.S. Next time let's talk about a PA treat that can't be beat === SCRAPPLE!
The club sandwich and onion rings looked fantastic! And the cake! Wow❤❤❤
Everything we had was delicious! Such a great place to go to in Amish Country. Love that it's something different.

What about the other location ?
I believe this is the only location! Great people.
I thought it had a different address on the menu. Thank you very much.
Too long on the menu.
It is a long menu.
