My metal arrangement of the Étude Op. 10, No. 12, known as 'Revolutionary Etude'. Originally solo piano work by Frédéric Chopin.
It was a big challenge for me mainly because of the huge stretches and intervals. Of course, I was forced to adjust the tempo to make it sound good on the guitar.
Metal version/cover of this classical piece. Enjoy!
Everything arranged, recorded, and mixed by me.
This track is also available as a part of the “Classical Metal Volume Two” on all music streaming services! :)

Chopin: making metal music since the 1800s
Chopin: the granfather of prog metal
Choppin was ahead of his time he never even knew
This piece is actually really good for a metal cover. He's made the piece pretty heavy and intense despite doing it on piano, so it will still retain that sound on guitar. In fact when I first listened to the piece, I could instantly see some riffing and shred guitar covering the piano, as the piece was already metal. Thus I came hear to here what this would sound like.
Such a revolutionary way to revolutionise revolutionary etude 👏
This is simply amazing! I decided yesterday to search for a Chopin heavy metal cover and I am blessed to have found this. Keep up the great work!
This actually works as an etude for arpeggios on the guitar too.
criminally clean!
Chopin sends kind regards from Heaven. Well done bro
as a classical pianist and lifelong metalhead... FUCK YEAHHHHH!!!!!!!
One of the only good Chopin 'metal cover' I've found.
Not everyone can do a good cover of Chopin, on any instrument, the piece is revolutionary (pun intended) and Chopin's works were ahead of his time. He was and still remains a musical legend, just like Bach, Mozart, Ludwig Van Beethoven, John Lennon, Ozzy Osbourne, Freddie Mercury, Ronnie James Dio, Jeff Hanneman and many more. His pieces require quite a lot of chops to play, and also apparently his style is hard to emulate because of how big this guys hands were. You see this guy has apparently unnaturally big hands, and could reach an quite a lot of notes with them (an octave and some more) meaning that he could play a large amount of notes without moving his hands.
Excellent. The highlight in this clip is at 2:25 when the choir joins in...WOW.
This sounds soooo incredibly wonderful!!! Nice job man!!!
The first time I heard this piano piece, I recognised it would translate into a magnificent metal anthem (the same as the 3rd movement of Beethoven's Moonlight sonata). Glad to see that UA-cam has vindicated that recognition!
Chopin would be very proud of you. Congratulations
ZAJEBISTY COVER!
You are one of the best guitarists and musicians of our era, and one of my biggest inspirations! JUST AN IDOL ❗

Metal Chopin
Aż ciary chodzą jak tego słucham. 😎🤘
Dlatego porzuciłem ten pomysł i jednak zrobiłem inaczej - przejrzyściej. :)
Did you arranged the backing track? Because I'd like to use it too for practice of course
Please do the Devil's Trill by Giuseppe Tartini!
Awesome , can you do more Chopin like his Fanstasie ?
Yeah, I will someday. :)
Rose: Do your best for me, big brother.
Adelheid: Hmph. Leave it to me.
not yet lost.
Hey
Czy istnieje możliwość, abym mógł wykorzystać Twój cover w swojej animowanej produkcji? :)
Я с фф, аллергия на радость😎😎
Po prostu jak? Ile to musiało zająć czasu, by się tego nauczyć, wielkie ukłony przed Panem *.*
y-you have tabs for that? what do you mean "adjust the tempo"? was the video sped up?
Sorry, I don't have tabs. No, I just meant that I decided to play it a little slower than pianists performing this piece.
