    Thanks for this, Ordered Visbiome this tuesday. Waiting for its arrival. Expensive for a probiotic but...if we can drop money on food, drinks and so on. We can drop it on our health , especially if it'll help.

      @@iamchasewheeler Just got it, question. Best time in your personal experience to take them? First thing in the morning or before bed. I've seen some doctors say before bed gives the probiotic more time to do it's job since you won't be eating any time soon.

    • @iamchasewheeler
      @iamchasewheeler  Рік тому

      @@Walkinhighlightt I've seen similar advice. I have found that splitting them up (half in the morning and half at night) works best for me. I tend to do intermittent fasting so my morning typically does not involve food and I try to stop eating ~3 hours before bed. In both cases food is not involved when I take my probiotics. However, if i happen to not fast or take them with a late dinner I do not get too worried about it. As long as we are feeding our microbiome with probiotic/prebiotic rich foods it is all good 👍

    Hey, thanks for this information! In the past I have dealt with many stomach issues. I later found out that my anxiety and panic attacks stemmed from not only my bad eating habits, but my bacteria imbalance! At that time I knew nothing about stomach bacteria. My bad eating habits, have supported the growth of parasites as well. Doctors were quick to give me antibiotics, but never fully explained the importance of probiotics. I did my own research and learned everything i could get my hands on concerning stomach healing! I really appreciate the great insight that your video shows! You are super knowledgeable and looking forward to seeing more.

      Hi! Great story, good for you for taking the time to figure it out on your own. Our Doctors do the best they can, but with such a high demand placed on them, it makes sense that we have to be an advocate for our health. Our gut microbiome is a crazy place! It really is its own ecosystem that has a major impact on the rest of our health. I'm glad you are enjoying the channel :) and thank you again for a great story

    Sir, you are most correct! Visbiome BY FAR is the best. I'd taken other probiotics & it was like I'd taken nothing! Seriously. So, having taken useless probiotics that did absolutely nothing for me, one day my VETERINARIAN prescribed Visbiome for my CAT! I'd requested my vet suggest a probiotic in pill form for my cat, since my cat wouldn't eat the sprinkle-on vet probiotic supplements. Wow, it was more $$, but I saw a definite change in my cat. His life improved after Visbiome! So, I thought, shoot...lemme give it a try. I've never turned back. Visbiome is the difference between night & day for me. Told my Mom to take it. She didn't take my advice for months. One day she calls me & said she finally tried some Visbiome & it did wonders for her. I asked her, 'what took you so long to finally try it?!'

      Hi Bill I am sorry for the late reply. In my opinion the more strain and the higher cfu the better! Although I did not find Jarro dophilis specifically in my research a lactobacillus is highly recommended. You might want to try to increase your cfu count and increase the diversity in the probiotics you are taking. you also try taking them with food to see if you notice any changes. As always consult with your doctor before making any changes!

      Hi, I have not heard much of Megaspore but I am looking at it now. It seem ok...maybe not my favorite. It seems to be low in CFU (colony forming units) and low in strain types. However, more important than my opinion is how it makes you feel. Do you notice better gut health while taking Megaspore? If so, you are on the right track. If not maybe try one of the probiotics mentioned in the video (article below).

    Do you think it would be beneficial to go ahead and put the probiotics that don’t need to be refrigerated in the refrigerator?

    • @iamchasewheeler
      @iamchasewheeler  Рік тому +4

      Hi Macy great question. I find it best practice to refrigerate probiotics even if they are labeled “shelf stable”. Exposure to heat and humidity for long periods will kill off most of the bacterial strains. So I definitely think it is worth it, especially considering the cost of probiotics and how easy it is to put them in the fridge. Hope this helps!

I actually have a video coming out about it very soon so keep an eye out. I have noticed major changes to my skin health when I eat the right things.

    Are any probiotics able to eat any bad bacteria, or are certain bad germs only able to be eaten by certain strains of probiotics?

    • @iamchasewheeler
      @iamchasewheeler  Рік тому

      Hi what a great question. I like to think about our microbiome as a garden. We want our good bacteria to grow so we plant good bacteria seeds (probiotics) and make sure we give them water, fertilizer, and sun. However, if we neglect our garden by forgetting to water it or not giving it the right amount of sun, our plants (good bacteria) will die and weeds (bad bacteria) will grow. We can pull the weeds and replant new seeds but at any point, if we neglect our garden then the weeds can come back. To answer your question directly no, probiotics do not eat bad bacteria instead, they are good bacteria seeds. It is our job to create an environment where good bacteria grow including eating a probiotic-rich diet and feeding those probiotics with prebiotic foods. I hope this helps answer the question.

    • @braumenheimer9607
      @braumenheimer9607 Рік тому

      @@iamchasewheeler Thanks for going over all of this. I see what you're saying about needing to take care of the garden...like seven years ago I did a 30 day water fast and gave myself a bad case of colitis that persisted for the longest time. Well is it important to get a plethora of different strains of probiotics? Like Kundalini Kova says the best way to restore the gut microbiome is with kefir retention enemas, because they have between 36-56 different strains of probiotics but I'm severely lactose intolerant. I'm experimenting with homemade raw fermented scrambled eggs at this point, but they aren't easy getting into the system, and I think maybe I need to be fermenting various other foods along with this to increase the probiotics strain diversity, but Kundalini Kova hasn't gotten back to any of my questions yet.

    • @iamchasewheeler
      @iamchasewheeler  Рік тому

      @@braumenheimer9607 Wow a 30 day water fast is impressive! Im sorry it did not turn out well. It is definitely important to get a well divere microbiome but that does not necessarily mean buying a ton of probiotics. To make it somewhat simple I like to follow the big 3 (1. Diet 2. Sleep 3. Exercise) to achieve a diverse microbiome. All of those in addition to avoiding unnecessary stress will help you with your goal. No doubt enemas are effective. They are doing some cool things and producing awesome results with fecal transplant enemas. That may be a bit extreme for most but if you are interested maybe you can get into a clinical trial for that. Fermented foods are excellent, I try to have at least one with each meal. Check out Green Valley lactose free kefir. I also do not do well with dairy so that is my go to kefir. I hope this helps adn thanks for the great conversation.

The important part about probiotics is making sure you hit the standards we discussed in the video when choosing your probiotics. HI Josh I am very sorry to hear about your struggles. Like many of us, it takes a traumatic event to even know we have colitis. Yes, I got partial disability for my job. Before my diagnosis at one point, I was missing 1 week of work per month so when I was finally diagnosed I got disability until I could figure out how to manage my UC. I understand not being able to afford all these 'organic' all-natural foods. Such an unfortunate thing that the "healthy' foods are expensive and often not available. One thing I did enjoy during my worst moments was bone broth. It's super cheap to make if you can get the ingredients on your own, and great for your gut.

      @@iamchasewheeler ive been missing a few weeks a month sometimes it gets really bad do you puke green and have green and black poop everybody else says blood but I live in Kentucky and its like no one has ever heard of colitis they been trying to treat me with pepto bismol I'm just trying to find anyone who can help me with this problem all you ever see is nurse practitioners here

      @@joshgreer3527 Hi Josh. I have been there. I've never thrown up green but I have seen blood in stool way more than what would be considered acceptable. It was a nightmare. And to combat that nightmare I also drank Pepto bismol and ate tums just to get through the day. Pepto also turned my stool black, but did not stop the bleeding only masked the signs of bleeding. I realized later on that while pepto and tums helped in the moment they actually allowed me to continue to do greater damage to my gut. I HIGHLY recommend you find a GI doctor that your insurance works with because your story sounds a lot like mine.

    What is best strain probiotic of acidity indgestion n poor gut health plz reply

    • @iamchasewheeler
      @iamchasewheeler  11 місяців тому +2

      Hi what a great question. There are a few probiotic strains that have been shown to help with acidity indigestion including Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus reuteri, Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (LGG), and Saccharomyces boulardii. While you are searching for the right probiotic for you it may been a good idea to find a way to combine all of these stains. As you know probiotics can get expensive so a few things you can do outside of probiotics to avoid acidity indigestion is to avoid common trigger foods including spicy foods, citrus fruits, tomatoes, chocolate, coffee, and fatty or fried foods. You can also try one of my favorite gut health teas which includes ginger root, peppermint leaves, and licorice root. It's also important to avoid alcohol, smoking, and eating late into the night. I hope this helps and thank you for the question.

    Is Visbiome third-party tested?

    • @iamchasewheeler
      @iamchasewheeler  10 місяців тому

      Great question. I can’t find anything regarding 3rd party testing with the exception of the Monash University, the leader in FODMAP research officially certifying Visbiome as Low FODMAP. It has been involved in over 100 clinical trials with great results. While it is a medical food as defined by the Orphan Drug Act and additional FDA regulations. Visbiome is not an FDA approved Drug because probiotics are not considered a cure for any type of disease or ailment. I hope this helps!

    Hi, which probiotic is best for anxiety/panic attacks and depression?

    • @iamchasewheeler
      @iamchasewheeler  Рік тому +2

      Hi Megan, I hope you found some probiotics that work well for your anxiety and depression. You are on the right track by thinking about probiotics as a way to combat anxiety/panics attacks and depression. I struggle to suggest one probiotic for one specific cause because each probiotic will work different for different people. If you are really struggling and looking for extra help, then visbiome is by far my favorite. I think more important is that you are caring for yourself as a whole which includes supplements, diet, exercise, and possible receiving additional help. You are not alone in this journey Megan. Best of luck!

    THE BACK OF MY TONGUE IS TURNING WHITE FROM CANDIDA.

      @iamchasewheeler  Рік тому +1

      Yeh I know what you’re experiencing! Our tongue is a great indicator of our gut health as it is the first stop for digestion and shows clear signs of how our microbiome is doing. In addition to probiotics cutting back on unhealthy foods can possibly improve Candida. I personally notice a huge difference when I limit my carbohydrate intake. Hope this helps!
