A plastic surgeon who works for the UN, earns 8 million dollars, gets escorted by helicopter and jets but who is virtually broke and relies on gift cards. Yup, sounds legit.
They believe what they want to believe despite any evidence put in front of their eyes. It must be terrible to have somebody like that in your family.
I saw in this channel a woman who gave to the scammer her mother's retirement money. She was her main caregiver, so she had access to her money. She had no other job.
The investigators gave her all the evidence, she understood it was a scam. A few days later: she followed her routine: every Wednesday she sent money to the scammer. The investigators asked: why? You know it is a scammer!. She: IDK! It is just what I do every Wednesday! I have being doing it for years!
Another scammed man I saw: the day after they showed him the evidences of the scam, he went back to interact with the scammer as if nothing happened. That man had said to his wife he was leaving her for the "other woman". The wife knew he was being scammed, so she called these UA-cam investigators.
It looks like a very strong addiction, similar to gambling addiction: they know they are losing all their money there, yet they cannot stop doing it.
🤦♀️
Same story every time! But you know, everyone here have high standard, no one will date anyone less than millionaires. No one use logic anymore. Make it even worse when she ask why. Well, he want your money lady

Five failed marriages then you’re wanting to marry someone after a couple months? Stop and focus on your kids.

I was married 11yrs ago, I did the formal divorce 7yrs ago, and I have been single since,i have been working on me and what issues I had to make sure when I decide or if I date I do not repeat my mistakes from the past, I cant even wrap my head around how many times this lady married. That is a strong Nigerian accent how could anyone not hear that wow. I spent Time seeking the Lord, she should do the same, I have a teen son, she could have focused on the Lord, focused on herself and just been a mum, the right man would have come along. Edit,I'm not casting stones at her as some think, I find it totally sad,one divorce broke me, my ex cheated and abandoned me and our 2yr old to pursue his gf, I didnt want to carry this trauma into any other relationship and I also didnt want to make mistakes dating, this lady needs to love herself more, marriage isnt a Mickey mouse show,it should be taken seriously.

@@lee-lee6835 You are someone with a decent head on your shoulders and I wish you much happiness in your life. I've noticed in my own family those like my mother or the 90 yr old widow across the road and even my own late grandmother, once they were left alone due to their husbands passing away they all stayed alone and the reason why is they didn't have picture perfect marriages they had the ones filled with abuses of different kinds. It's always those that have had cakewalks and are the type to just leave over little things that get up to 5 marriages and divorces and still keeps looking, ready to jump into a marriage again after 2 months without even meeting. This woman is mentally ill in this video and she needs to work on herself, her relationship with God and her children. Because if you cannot be happy by yourself with yourself then you will never find happiness with another person.
I wish you luck iin your life Lee Lee, God bless!
The real victims are her 7 children, having a delusional mother like this.
Her poor child, at 5/6, had to save himself by going to his teacher after his mother chose to ignore the abuse. That speaks volumes about her character. It’s one thing to believe your religion and try to work things out, but the second someone hurts your child that is where your allegiance to any church or spouse should end. She “feels like she’s a good person” but gives money for some D- and not for her kids. That gold coin and all those gift cards she gave away to some rando was money I’m sure her children needed…
I have a sister going through this. We are sending her these videos and hoping for a miracle
@@BoredchinchillaI was thinking about that, too. And I also thought how I imagine she was mad at her son for that- the way she spoke about it came across to me as if she was upset about losing that relationship rather than upset at the abuse the son/kids were suffering from the man. I’ve seen way too much of this sort of thing in different cases. I hope the kids have grown up and had good lives regardless of everything.
@@BoredchinchillaIt also goes to show the problems within those that are super religious, too. Not saying that all religious people ignore abuse, but I do tend to notice that many ultra religious people that are fundies often tend to ignore child abuse- even going so far as to normalize it and say that it's just a parent disciplining their child.
Guess what? Being married is NOT mandatory.
😂😂ain't that the truth!!
But it actually is in the Mormon faith. You have to be married to reach the highest degree of heaven, that’s why she’s so desperate.
How a person can calmly say “you are sealed with your spouse forever” when they have been divorced five times is beyond me.
My husband and I were married 36 years. Wow we did have some MAJOR ups and downs. We took marital vows. We figured it and out and stayed together.
She would have stayed in the first marriage if her hubs hadn’t been physically abusive to her and her kids. Especially since her mom gave her that horrible mandate to work it out. ‘’Trying harder” with abusive partners just won’t work. They need boundaries to stop the escalating abuse. She was lucky to get out safely.
Cult, not a church.
She's desperate, jumps from man to man, have horrific judgment and is emotionally immature. Even at her advanced age, she still is not emotionally ready for any adult relationship. Unfortunately that is the example she set for 7 children who had new dads like a revolving door.
@@debmccafferty1007that’s great that you guys did but people who are incredibly unhappy in a marriage even after trying to work things out shouldn’t feel that they NEED to stay in the marriage. That’ll just make them more miserable
She married in Temple to a man who abused her and her children, and twice more to men in her church, but says marriage outside the church doesn’t work for her. I think she is very delusional.
😂
Yeah, 3 out of 3 divorces within the church and 2 out of 2 divorces outside the church both come out to 100%. I'd think at #5 you'd wonder "maybe its me...".
I said the something she married in and out of the temple and it didn’t work. The only common factor here is you. Obviously you are choosing wrong and not giving yourself time to heal
She believes the age old lie that there is a god so that is the start to her delusion
@@charmainewalker8627she's not "choosing wrong" at this point. It's pretty unlikely that 5 separate men are all horrible assholes, it's more likely she's the problem. Nobody chooses wrong 5 times in a row.
61, with 7 kids and married 5 times??? BINGO shes a prime target for scammers
She won't find a partner easily unfortunately. She seems nice and is cute but 6 children and 4 marriages is a lot! I was married once for 27 years. Divorced for 7. He divorced me and our 5 children were adults when we divorced (FYI I'm 54 now) most men using online dating sites to meet women want a partner 10 to 20 years younger (I'm lucky because I like older men) and they don't want minor children. Idk her children's ages. I'm still watching.
She has probably only had sex with those 5 men. For that she has to be married. My mom was the same. She was married 5 times as well...because she adhered to those religious standards. She is therefore not a tramp like others. Most people have sex with everyone they date and the relationships play out.
I think she's LDS so that's not unusual.
Those things don't make her a perfect target... her lack of common sense does.

Lol the entire Mormon religion was started by a sexual predator unhappy to be stuck with one wife….and lived during a time where divorce was a big no-no and adultery was illegal. So what did Joseph Smith do to solve his dilemma? Why, he started a religion! Lol.
And she says she can't marry someone outside her church because she tried that before and it didn't work, but three of the five former spouses were from her church, so...

Gullible is not what I would use to describe her. She's more crazy and self- centered than anything else.
In many cases religion = gullible. Not necessarily because of what they believe but because of how they believe. I’ve met plenty of religious people who are absolutely terrible. If all someone has to say for you to trust them is that they’re -insert religion here- you’re a fool. Religion means nothing. Yeah, the mental gymnastics here are astounding...

People need to understand that they are just marks; they are not someone the scammer cares about. These victims are simply commodities to the scammers, and they need to understand that someone that considers them to be a means to an end doesn’t care that they lied: doesn’t care what someone else is going through. It’s all about how much they can extort from the victim until that source runs dry.
Exactly!!👍
Yes from her perspective it’s betraying someone you love but to the scammers it’s just another day at work and all part of the plan.
“why are you doing that to me?” - she didn’t understand that been a scammer it’s his job. Nothing personal against her. Just having a business with her. He sells her a beautiful virtual story and she’s paying for it.

It never ceases to amaze me how people do not know how even simple things in this world work. No one pays their phone bill with gift cards. No one pays their internet provider with gift cards. Then the marriage fails and the cycle repeats.

Yes, I got sucked in by one, lost everything. Our child and I lost our benefits because the scammer keeps claiming that he gives us $2000 a month child support. He hasn't paid child support ever. 3yrs now, but somehow they believe him, with no evidence. The courts themselves took away his parenting rights due to the years of abuse the child was born into and then groomed to participate in. He was ordered to pay $3000 a month, since I paid to put him through schooling, supported him financially, put a roof over his head for free for 9yrs. He crushed 2 vertebrae in my neck, never charged. He put me in the hospital for 6weeks from poisoning, causing multi-organ failure, not charged because of 'plausible deniability'. I'll never be able to work again and am 55yrs old with absolutely nothing to show for it. When we escaped the police wouldn't allow us to take anything out of the home. By the time I was able to get the property issue into court, he claimed that he had already disposed of everything.

It just goes to show how selfish this woman is, thinking of herself before her own children.
Oh my God…how many more women can fall for this “I’m a contractor for the U.N.” nonsense? It’s extremely hard to feel sorry for these people when a 1st grader knows to never send money to anyone from online. It’s just like all common sense goes out the window with these people.
It’s just as bad as the old men that fall in love with 24 year old models from Ukraine that need money because of the war
Maybe 1st graders do know not to send money to people on the Internet, but old people don't know it, not all anyway. And most of these videos are about old people.
It's also bizarre that they accept that someone is officially working for the UN - and then Also accept that the UN just leaves them utterly stranded and abandoned in some country, to the extent that they need lots of money to get home from the My Love, My Queen who they just happen to have met a month or few ago, when emails to their UN Line Manager, regional UN office and/or UN HR Department would see the UN pay for their travel home, and all related costs.
Instead, these idiots - nice as they may be, they're idiots, too - just look at these letters and emails littered with spelling mistakes and grammar errors, and accept that Yup Seems Legit.
At some point, being stupid, or spectacularly naïve and unworldly, doesn't excuse the gigantic, costly errors they make, as they ignore more red flags than a national holiday celebration in Beijing.
@@calliew311 Many of these victims are in their 40s and 50s - I'm almost 52, and not exactly 'old', and even if you're in your 60s or 70s now (again, not old), you were in your 20s or 30s - young, alert adults - back in the 1980s and 90s when tech, mobile phones and the internet all began to jump into public consciousness and become normalised part of everyday life.
I don't understand how people living with tech and exposure to the internet for decades at this stage aren't a hell of a lot more savvy about these kinds of things - simply saying "They're old" fails to explain away their distinct lack of awareness of basic scams, online bustles, etc etc.
I mean, I'm from a small, remote Irish town, and even my elderly parents there show a sharper grasp of online hustles and scam artists than the people on these shows do. A few things:
1. I'll give this woman credit that she didn't think that some super young, super ripped, super hot guy was interested in her. In reality, they physically look like a plausible couple
Now the rest:
2. Understand that a Dr is very unlikely to be roaming the internet looking for a date
3. No job is going to tell you to pay to leave the job. Where TF do they get this
4. How does a Dr have only one source of finances, most people don't. There's almost always a credit card somewhere even if they rarely use it. If every bank they have blocks them, that's highly suspicious and you should run
5. Sorry for your trauma but seek therapy not someone to fix you and make you feel better.
6. Bitcoin and gift cards are not a reliable source of payment for pretty much anything. Most companies are not going to say 'we accept bitcoin' for payment
7. If someone is always making excuses to not meet you or there's always something happening but they're asking for money, 🗣 THEY'RE NOT INTO YOU, ITS A SCAM
8. Americans by goodness, educate yourselves, like the fact that she didn't hear that W. African accent is insane. Like they really sayin "it sounds European" 🤦🏿♀️

not really
What is amazing is that when they find out about being scammed they really think that the person scamming them will feel bad when found out. They want to meet them "face to face". Can nobody tell them this is a business for them where hundreds of people sit and their work is to scame as many as possible? They really think that the person that triced them wold feel bad meeting them.
Right even when you confront a scammer about using fake photos the scammer just keeps lying lol they don’t care lies are their business
This guy could not possibly have sounded more Nigerian. When she said $8 million I literally screamed.
I doubt he has even 8 million Nigerian cents let alone 8 million US Dollars 😂😂😂
It’s just so crazy to me that these victims can so easily fall in love with some stranger based on the most superficial and bare-bones conversations. It’s not like the scammers even have to be good at seducing or endearing them to the victims. All they need to do is call them beautiful or handsome a few different ways and it’s in the bag.
Studies have shown what happens is Our brains often “ fill in the blanks” so it feels like a whole relationship, and these people who are so trusting and honest just assume everyone thinks like they do- the scammer she’s confronting about lying has no moral qualms- I doubt she can fathom their value system, being brainwashed in a church can create dangerous blindspots and assumptions.
