I’ve been fishing this reel since June. Purchased on Amazon from a Japanese retailer for $108 (they are about $120 now with the JPY rebound). For the money this is an amazing reel. I’ve been fishing it hard with 50lb braid for hollow body frogs in Florida. It still feels super tight. It is small and palms amazing. Very similar palming to my Zillions. Buy one if you are on the fence.
I've heard that there are differences between the jdm and usdm versions of daiwa reels. My main concern is the gear is aluminum and not brass in the jdm reel. Can you confirm this? Amazon has this reel for $50 less than the usdm. That is a great deal if the reel has the brass gear.
Nice review. Which all of your reel testing which one would be your top choice for 3/16 oz to 3/8oz paddletail swim bait… like a 2 or 2.5” Keitech? BFS, not BFS. Need help with this.
FWIW this model appears to be $179ish on tacklewarehouse etc, it is almost in the Curado price range. I know you are talking digitaka and the yen is low as of the writing of this comment I would like to see this compared to a curado m or 150 MGL since that is the "selling" price for the reel in the states. Regardless good video keep em coming.
Nobody with an ounce of sense is buying USDM reels. Digitaka will have it shipped to your house in the US faster than Tackle Warehouse. I bought this reel for $108 from Japan.

I picked up a TW80 and a TW100 for under $120 each on Ali Express. I have been very impressed with both of them so far.
I have one and I love it it cast a mile and no backlash
Hey, I'm new to bait casters and I'm a little confused, isn't this reel the same as the 2023 Tatula 100 US model? I appreciate any feedback👍
Nice, it comes in left hand
your voice and accent so relaxing i play your videos to sleep 🙏🏻
I'm waiting on the 2024 SV TW 150! I can't wait to see that drop on the Japanese sites.
Is this model able to handle the salt well?
Nicely done! Beautiful reel but I’m a spinning reel guy
Thanks David! I hope all is well.
They both have their uses! If you love pitching lures it’s hard to beat the connection that a good baitcaster provides.

130 puts it up against the slx xt . a few weeks ago the newest tatula sv was all over the place for under 130 Omnia had it for 105 for members
There is a new 2024 sv coming.

@@no_rules_today6131 They are most likely the same

@@chootum8295agree 100% I got mine from Japan lure shop. The thing is the reel is priced in the us market closer to a Curado
Guys, any experiences with the DigiTAKA site?
How long does it take to arrive in the USA, do they charge extra, etc?
Usually 3-5 days to get here, one of the most reputable JDM sites, great prices and usually free shipping
I’ve had reels shipped to my door in Florida in 3 days.
I love all my Tatula sv's but I would hardly consider them "budget" reels, not in the states at least.
Bought this reel a couple months ago for $108 from Japan. For what this real is, you can’t buy better for the money.
Best budget reel now is the HiStar Aurora Air...😂😂😂
I got mine in the mail the other day and threw it out. Cheap plastic, noisy waist of $28. I think I'll stick with the Daiwa.
I agree with you 👍

Hi, Please give me the digitaka discount code
Diawa tatula has been there best selling reel in their line up. And a tatula is affordable. Not a 'budget' reel
their
Does budget not mean affordable for your budget. Stop with the semantics. People always need something to complain about with how you review something
@@jr_fishing9287 coming from someone complaining about my comment. Just wanting to run your mouth.
@@jr_fishing9287I agree it's the same thing. It's a substantial step up from a fuego, but I consider both budget reels.
This reel has an 11 lb. drag. Leave it alone. Go buy a Tatula CT!
So it’s a black low-profile reel. Tons on Ali.
Amazon has it for $110.00
Hi, ima need you to do less review videos n more fishing videos! What happened to the consistency?
