See where to shop in New York with a New York shopping guide from locals of two killer places to buy home decor or for cool home renovations. This is not about thrifting in New York city, but about finding off the beaten track cool shopping spots to give you home decor tips and home renovation ideas. @@HumanimalChannel same here. 49. Keep onto things for a long time (carefully select them, then love them and don't get annoyed for a long time. The catch is also to not have too many similar things.)
I usually buy clothing the way Karen buys furniture: think, plan etc. (Not laways, sometimes I just lose patience and buy sth.)

Oh Karen, I have just died and home to heaven. My favourite was the cushions and vintage glass table with chairs. When I saw the Bodega Veneta book I though of Monroe Steele. You toilet seat has inspired me to paint the Union Jack but in the colours of the Jamaican flag.

Back in the day, I had a drawstring bucket bag made in fabric similar to the tote you wore to the flea market. The embroidery technique is called shisha work. I loved that bag. Thanks for taking us to that Brooklyn home store (loved everything there!) and can't wait to see what you do with your bathroom!
