The dancers on this are absolutely great!!!! I don't understand the fans that don't like M on the guitar because they would rather her be dancing. But she can do both! Love it! Brenda, it's so funny you mention the choreography with arms reminding you of Hindu. On the 1998 MTV VMA's she opened the show with that exact thing. She began with Shanti/ Ashtangi. Three large screens projecting Hindu imagery. The women dancers were wearing a lehenga choli and their forehead adorned with bindi. At one point in the choreo they were all behind Madonna and you could only see their arms, moving around so precisely. It was really a cool thing to witness.

While she was rehearsing for this tour she did a surprise performance at Coachella. The setlist played out the same as in Koko club. However she performed Ray of Light, just as she would later perform in this tour! Even the dancers were there doing this very same routine

At this point, we all can agree that every song (even interludes) are pure art; an incredible performance; and that is the best She does.
Also at this point, we all can agree that when the confessions tour finish, we'll miss our daily trip with you ladies, hehe. Big love from Barcelona!

Such an electrifying performance! My favorite live version of ROL.

ROL in her live tours has always been an eye-popping spectacular, jolting performance. It conjures a cosmic, stellar imagery bursting with energy perhaps evoking the “Big Bang” moment of creation that in ancient Dharmic belief concept of samsāra, unfolded an eternal karmic cycle of birth-death-rebirth of stars like all life in this material universe.
I agree with you, her choreo of male dancers that got behind her and did those arm movements with a radiant sun rising in the background is most likely Madonna’s artistic portrayal of the Hindu mythic astral sun god, Surya, leading the original 7 solar gods (the Adityas), who in later Vedic texts was replaced by Vishnu. This was the long period when Madonna was fascinated with Hindu/Buddhist mysticism and yoga.
Her use of the mf’er slang popular among inner city Blacks is a dual-edged word: it’s usually a cuss word when said with anger or contempt, but it’s a term of endearment here before her adoring fans.
That high tech stage flooring that “swallows up” dancers as they jump and disappear into it-is amazing! An artistic enhancement that didn’t escape Madonna’s eye for details. Enjoyed and shared in your awed reaction to this number.❤😊

Such stunning imagery in this performance!
And we love her favorite term of endearment for fans - It always makes us smile!

Sending lots of love your way ❤️

The dancers disappearing into the stage floor: I don't think it's special effect. I think it's lighting technician. I saw the musical Les Miserables in London in 2022 and the character Javert disappeared like that, seemingly jumping off the bridge.

Hi girls, how are you? I have a strange relationship with Ray of Light. I love the studio version, I think it's a masterpiece, but the live versions never manage to deliver what the studio delivers. Maybe the live version of Oprah is the closest to that, and that version I like. The version of Le It will be that you will watch below is a remix by Styart Price, but make no mistake, the album version is very different but equally incredible. Have you listened to the album yet? Kisses

Yes, we've listened to the entire album (we followed the advice from everyone here before watching the tour 😉). And you're definitely correct - Very different versions of Let It Will Be, and the remix is amazing.
      Much love to you! ❤️
