I traveled to Wales 30 yrs ago, and there were choirs everywhere, including on the sea front. For people to whom singing is an expression of profundity, it is a most joyful joining of spirit. God bless all loving spirits.
I love listening to choirs that sings without instruments, just voices This brings my memory back in my days, in 1970s and 1980 growing up in West New Britain province of Papua New Guninea. I'am watching this video in Port Moresby.
Hello Moses, in English, choirs that sings without instruments are called "Acapella". You may find some good ones on You Tube. Check out "pentatonix" and "The Real Group" as well.
As a young crew-member on the original ss Oriana, in the 1960s, I regularly visited Suva, in Viti Levu, Fiji. When we left, there was usually a Police pipe band (which pleased a Scot! I also liked the "long kilts" worn by the males) and a choir. I fell in love with Fijian unaccompanied singing all those years ago. What a joy to discover this UA-cam clip. Happy memories.
What an absolutely charming comment! Thank you! Fijians of a certain generation have iconic memories of the Oriana. As for myself, my parents and I migrated to England in 1967 on the SS Australis now, sadly, a rusting, submerged wreck in the Mediterranean.

Beautiful. I just have to smile at the hang on effects of wearing a white shirt and tie in respect and humble honour to their duty to God in their worship. The British Empire still has its effects all over the world.😉 I’ve had some experience of Barber Shop type singing in the U.K. and it is certainly good fun. Personally I think they need a larger bass section to give it more depth, but they’ve done a beautiful presentation with some lovely people. May Jesus be praised every day in joyful song. 🙏
I have just been to South Pacific area conference in NSW Australia 🇦🇺 and we were entertained by Fijian, Tongan and Cook island choir singing. They sing so beautifully.
Lovely joyful singing by this choir....at this time in August each year....there is a festival singing whilst the Annual Methodist Church conference is being held.....
