I only recently bought Balatro (little over two weeks ago) and I’ve been hooked, but I find myself watching these videos more than I actually play the game. Probably because I’m on console so I don’t have access to mods, but also because Roffle has a nice voice and sense of humor, and makes the numbers go brrrrr better than I can.
I watch these videos more than I play the game now, but only because I've gotten to the point where I've almost completed gold stake on every deck and the few that are left are really difficult and frustrating
10:58 very clever, ralsei is active when there are three suits, like the three heros, one of them has to be a heart aka the player soul (Deltarune is where the card is from)
I think how it works is that you get a second, random tag along with the shown tag for that skip. (Perhaps that way, with anything that mimics a joker, or allows clones of jokers, could be effective, further increasing the number of tags gained per blind.
oh wow i hope they go this route for like a dlc or something. Really cool distinct art that draws the eye with good balance. Would be cool to see jokers that involve friends of jimbo characters too
Seeing the pride flag joker with a moderately underwelming effect gave me the idea to have other pride flag jokers. A really cool pride flag effect would be a chance for unmodified cards to become wild or polychrome when scored. The trans flag gives face cards to have a chance to become other face cards when scored. Kings to Queens and vice versa. The Bi flag would make all face cards count as the same suit for hand types. The ace flag would score for non-heart suits and give a bonus to aces. This next one is ambitious, but maybe there could be a nb flag that changes the face cards appearance entirely to 11s 12s and 13s making them score a few more chips and making jokers like ride the bus better.

I saw subterfuge joker in the thumbnail and was concerned that I was too brainrotted and thought it was a reference to something else no. it's a reference to exactly what I thought it was
My brain works in a very weird way because at 51:30 in the video, when the gold cards get triggered, it's the exact same beat & tone as milkshake by kelis leading up to the chorus. Tell me I'm not crazy here
When did you play this mod before? Cause you seem quite familiar with lots of the joker, or did you have multiple runs prior to this run on that stream?
When you're playing modded can you read out what new jokers do? You read a lot faster than I do so I have to pause just to see wtf the happening. Or at least linger on them longer. Not everyone watches the streams and it would help the YT frogs.
I found a Plasma seed with Blueprint, Brainstorm and Stuntman in Ante 1. Basically gets you all the way to ante 8 alone. Is that relatively common or should I drop it in your discord to play around with? Cheers
